6'3"" 231 junior with a cannon of an arm,   He's a transfer from Penn St and is now the starting QB for Kentucky.  Looks like Ky is moving away from running QBs like Terry Wilson and Lynn Bowden and I'm happy about that.  His first game against LA Monroe he was 18/26 347 yards 4 TDs and 1 INT with a couple of long TD throws.  He had nice chemistry with another transfer Wan'Dale Robinson (5/125/2) and Josh Ali (5/136/1).  Chris Rodriguez had 19/125/1.  I predict Rodriguez (5'11" 224) will shoot up draft boards this year and was very good last year (119/785/11).  I know La. Monroe is a weak opponent, but I think you will see a different style Ky team in 2021 that will be exciting to watch.  They always have a dominate OL too (near the top in the SEC).

ETA:  Let's not forgot Wan'Dale Robinson.  The Ky native and transfer from Nebraska is a big time playmaker.  He has 29 receptions for 467 yards and 3 TDs and 16..1 average after 5 games.  He already has 4 receptions for over 30 yards.

Are you a Kentucky native/Fan?

I’ve lived in Kentucky all of my life suffered through a lot of the quarterbacks. I haven’t been this excited about football team a long time.

Wait, what?

He’s not really a running QB.  His biggest strength is his arm…strength.
I watched him the last 2 years, he ran more than he threw. He was going to be the 3rd string QB at PSU so he left. Sean Clifford struggled a lot last year and he still got his job back after Levis played a game or two.

Unless he underwent a complete metamorphosis, this will be his best game of the year.

He looked great throwing the ball, but more importantly he seems like a leader.  Looks like Penn St. dropped the ball ;)

Ky upsets #10 Florida is now 5-0 (3-0 conf).  They should break into the top 20 this week.  Wan'Dale Robinson is looking like a real playmaker.  He now has 29/467/3/16.1 stat line.  He has 4 receptions this year for over 30 yards after 5 games.

RB Chris Rodriguez had 27/206/3 against Missouri tonight
I went to CU when Eric Bieniemy was the starting RB and have followed his career.
Interesting that HE held sway in the selection of a RB.
I'm following how this plays out.

"Bieniemy influenced the selection of RB Chris Rodriguez. He will also have plenty of say in Antonio Gibson’s role next season. Rivera said he’d like more touches for the RB and is intrigued by how the versatile Gibson fits into “what Eric Bieniemy wants to do with the offense.”
