Willie Parker (1 Viewer)

Coach called him out on his comments about not running enough and generally being critical of the offensive scheme.

I don't know enough of Tomlin. Will this relegate Parker to somewhat of a doghouse status and will we see more of Moore as a result?

Tomlin seems pretty insecure and has thin skin.. so i would not be suprised to see Wille punished.

Do you think Tomlin is incesure based on his response to these comments only? Or other stuff as well?To the original OP: I don't think FWP will be punished, but he's probably not a good play anyway this week... Bmore is good against the run (especially at home), FWP may not still not be 100%, and he will probably continue to split carries with MeMo.

Yes. But any port in a storm. Brandon Jacobs and Hillis were my starters going into the playoffs. Now I'm left with Ward, Parker and M. Moore.

Meh. I don't buy this for a second. Parker complained the Steelers haven't been running as much and Tomlin quicky and definitively put an end to such talk. And he did it in a way NOT to throw Parker under the bus. His quote: "He needs to be a little more careful with things he says and how he says it because it can be misinterpreted as uninformed or selfish, of which he is neither" .Contrast that to Wade Phillips' non-handling of the TO / Romo affair. In any case Tomlin is not going to punish Parker. Both Parker and Moore will get carries but the guy who is more effective will get the bulk of the workload. I agree with others that Moore will be on the field more than Parker mainly because the Ravens defense is extremely tough against the run.

No.
Can you expound as to why you have this opinion?
Tomlin doesn't do the "doghouse" routine...esp. for something like this. Not for saying they should run the ball more.
