The ineptitude of the Cincinnati offense had a lot to do with it for Lewis. They had 23 rushes and 10 completed passes, not a lot of tackle opportunities there.
Not sure about Willis as Arizona dominated the TOP (37:05 - 22:55).
I think it's way too early to panic on either of these guys though.
What makes a stud a stud is what they do over the season. It's the consistancy they bring week in and week out. Point being, you don't see 1 tackle and 2 asst type games. Yes, they aren't booming box scores that you might expect from a lofty draft pick, but it's just the first game of the season. Cinci couldn't keep a drive alive to save their souls, so it's hard to put up numbers if it's 3 & out all the time. From the look of things...ARZ offense didn't fare too much better either.
Watch of for Willis. I have him in an 100% keeper league. Last year he played like he was shot out of a cannon. I was shocked to watch him play this week. A few times I had to make sure I was watching the right guy. It may be one week but he wasn't the same player. It was like he was turned into a read and react LB. I saw him in one play not even take a step from MLB for 3-4 seconds after the play started. I hope it is just a 1 week thing. I am depending on him but what I say soemthing was wrong. Just check the tape. I am not over exagerating.
