Windy in Buffalo...ESPN says to sit Evans... (1 Viewer)

Just curious as to your opinions...Mort said that "Coles is a little dinged and that may affect his play, but it's so windy in Buffalo that Pennington may not even be able to get him the ball anyway".

No mention of Cotchery...But I'm sure Mort would have said the same thing as far as wind...

Wo what's the scoop Buffalo Homers? How windy is it? Impossible to throw the ball? Just a bit hard? How does it look for the Jets Passing Game?? Do you see the wind affecting Cotchery?

Thanks all!

I'm not sure the wind in Buffalo will affect Moss in Houston a whole lot,but it MAY have an effect on Coles and Cotchery and the no-name Bills wide outs.

Weather.com reporting winds in the upper 20's w/ gusts in the 30s. That's pretty windy.

I'm starting Cotchery and would start Evans as well. I just don't have the depth, especially w/ the Byes, to sit someone like Cotchery.

The Jets don't have too strong of a running game so they will have to pass. The success of their passing game remains questionable because of the weather. I personally sat Pennington for Big Ben this week.

My choices are Cotchery or Evans. :D

I'm playing Cotchery. Buffalo will try to run and NY has to pass. I think.

would seem to me that if it is really windy, Losman would have more success throwing than Pennington, since he has a rocket arm (that is pretty INaccurate) where Pennington is all touch but no heat.

Sitting just 5 miles from stadium, gusty for sure, looking like rain shortly. I would sit all my WR's in this game.

Umm, the jets traded moss for coles.IMO they're going to try to run the ball a lot. It's always windy in Buffalo though; this shouldn't be too much of a surprise.Pennington does throw up some ducks, so if you've got equal options it might be advisable to stay away.

I just put Jenkins in for Cotchery...Hate to do it, but seems like the safer bet. Also have the choice of Coleston but I like Atlanta's chances against the NO D better than vice-versa. (Although Brees IS a stud, but so is that Atlanta D!...Hard decision).

I disagree, for the reason that Pennington isn't throwing deep balls anyway. He'll be throwing short passes and allowing Cotchery and Coles to do their thing after the catch.I think of all the passing games in the NFL this one would be least affected by wind.

When you are listening to ESPN start em sit em, you have problems.

Other than Mort telling you who is in/out, ESPN fantasy stuff is worfless
