Not enough to be a fantasy impact. I agree that its a solid signing by NE to replace Winslow, however it will do nothing for your fantasy team. Uptick in targets for Gronk, Lloyd, and Welker. Winslow will be lucky to have 2 catches a game.

He's a talented player that just went to a perfect situation. Seems like a no-brainer pick-up. If he doesn't show something in the first few games he gets thrown back into the free agency list.

It's kind of funny, actually, to think that a team could go from having too many to not enough targets with exactly two roster moves. After all, the Seahawks acquired Owens and Winslow on the premise that they were not risking much. If anything went sideways, they could always cut them. Something about that equation will make you scratch your head until it bleeds.Maybe Anthony McCoy has progressed enough this August that he is past that brutal case of the dropsies that plagued him his first two years in the league. Maybe Miller's production last season was an aberration and he's going to catch 60-plus passes like he did in Oakland. And maybe, just maybe, Seattle let go a potential mainstay of the passing game by releasing Winslow.

I am a Hernandez owner looking for a TE fill in for 4-6 weeks.

Pitta is also available in my league. Do you throw a flyer on Winslow or grab Pitta since he is leading Baltimore in targets and yards.

Barich Im in the exact same spot. I have a trade offer out for the black unicorn a waiver in for Pitta and now I'm really considering shelving both and grabbing winslow. I think he could thrive in NE. Seems like an older but decent fill in for hernandez. Hell they even look alike

I think Winslow can survive the cut when Hernandez comes back if he comes in with the right attitude - the guy can be a big help for the team - not sure he will be but he has the talent and appears healthy enough

If he can play, I agree 100%. I was surprised they didn't sign him when they worked him out. NE desperately needs to have a AHern move TE replacement on the roster given he's missed games in every season. They think they have that guy in 2013+ in Ballard, but they don't have him for 2012. KW2 could be that guy. When AHern comes back he has no value other than as handcuff.
