Last year I had the same draft spot and took him at 5.20 and he performed right about to expectations.I'll try to pick soon, but I'm busy at work so it may be a bit.

Thought Crawford might keep falling a bit because he's supposed to miss the beginning of the regular season. Almost picked him, then I did a quick "avoid 2011 Mauer" recent-news check on Crawford ... Valentine said he'll miss the "first few weeks". Don't trust baseball injuries anymore -- seems 9 out of 10 of those guys way exceed their expected return date.

That said, if Crawford truly returns at least by mid-May, and has a reasonable statistical rebound, he's a steal at the bottom of the fifth.

I think people are doing a much better job this year. I expected Wieters to fall, I thought I could sneak Miguel Montero around the turn, I expected one of Fowler/Garcia to slip... none of the sneaky good targets are sliding this year.
