It isn't that we won't finish in time. It is more that as we get over 35 players, I suspect a lot of skips to occur so doubling up could keep the pace a bit quicker to help maintain interest.

It isn't that we won't finish in time. It is more that as we get over 35 players, I suspect a lot of skips to occur so doubling up could keep the pace a bit quicker to help maintain interest.

"Three in the chamber" -- it means that three drafters are OTC at any one time instead of just one. When any one of the three picks, the next drafter in sequence enters "the chamber".

Looks like 50 is no problem. It's already set for min roster size 31, max 50.

Bringing up an old conversation:

Playing a guy with C+ or C range in CF is good for 10-15 minus plays, and it gets worse from there. Maybe [Alejandro De Aza] will be better than I think but I'm guessing you still need to draft a CF.

Good news posted yesterday at FanTrax:

Dayan Viciedo could play left field

White Sox manager Robin Ventura said Monday that it's possible Dayan Viciedo could play left field this season. The White Sox appear committed to playing Alejandro De Aza in center field, so this move would allow Alex Rios to play his preferred position in right field. However, there would bit a bit of a learning curve for Viciedo, as he has never played a professional game in left field ...

Man, I hope that holds up.

I haven't seen any media outside of Denver even projecting him for more than spot duty, and you know, the whole broken neck thing... I guess we're past the point of risk though. I think he'll be better than Chacin this year, although he'll probably be held to 160ish innings.
