We'll shift to multiple timed picks per day somewhere in the vicinity of rounds 25-30.I'm also considering 3ITC over the weekend.I propose that we could double pick each round at the tail end of the draft. The turns would have 4 picks in a row. Maybe the last 6 or 10 rounds.
We could, but I don't see the rush. We have 36 days until opening day, and at most we have 34 rounds to go (even if we go all the way to 50, not that I am saying we should).I propose that we could double pick each round at the tail end of the draft. The turns would have 4 picks in a row. Maybe the last 6 or 10 rounds.
It isn't that we won't finish in time. It is more that as we get over 35 players, I suspect a lot of skips to occur so doubling up could keep the pace a bit quicker to help maintain interest. We could, but I don't see the rush. "Three in the chamber" -- it means that three drafters are OTC at any one time instead of just one. When any one of the three picks, the next drafter in sequence enters "the chamber".What means the bolded?I'm also considering 3ITC over the weekend.
Three in the chamber. Three people are up to pick at any given time. It prevents one person from gumming up the draft. What means the bolded? We'll shift to multiple timed picks per day somewhere in the vicinity of rounds 25-30.I'm also considering 3ITC over the weekend.I propose that we could double pick each round at the tail end of the draft. How big can FanTrax rosters get (if we're doing that again)?I vote for 50 rounds. Just getting that out there...it may affect strategy soonish.
So, after one of the three picks a new set up three is up? Or, do all three have to pick to bring up a new set of three?Three in the chamber. Three people are up to pick at any given time. Good news posted yesterday at FanTrax:Playing a guy with C+ or C range in CF is good for 10-15 minus plays, and it gets worse from there. Maybe [Alejandro De Aza] will be better than I think but I'm guessing you still need to draft a CF.
Man, I hope that holds up.Dayan Viciedo could play left field
White Sox manager Robin Ventura said Monday that it's possible Dayan Viciedo could play left field this season. The White Sox appear committed to playing Alejandro De Aza in center field, so this move would allow Alex Rios to play his preferred position in right field. However, there would bit a bit of a learning curve for Viciedo, as he has never played a professional game in left field ...
Local high-school baseball is just starting, so I'll be able to do some late-round scouting liveI also vote for 50 rounds to get lottery tickets for 10+ rounds.

There will come a point in garbage time when it'll become more trouble than it's worth to track clock and skips. We'll move to a free for all picking beginning at a pre-determined time of each day.We could, but I don't see the rush. I haven't seen any media outside of Denver even projecting him for more than spot duty, and you know, the whole broken neck thing... I guess we're past the point of risk though. I think he'll be better than Chacin this year, although he'll probably be held to 160ish innings.Would have been my next pick, fwiw.#### was sure he'd slide a few more rounds.18.14 - Juan Nicasio, SP, COL

I believe he was already picked. I also believe you're right that he sucks.Sp Bronson Arroyo? Suck!
