Out of curiosity, which of these two factors are emphasized towards the top of your running list?1) Likelihood of ending up on the Opening Day roster regardless of any upside limits2) The quality of a player's tools/stuff without regard to whether they start the season in MLB, AAA, AA, etc.Damn... Chen Lee and Jared Hughes were 1-2 on my list. Amazing that I'm still getting sniped (granted, it's 40-something picks between my turns)
Mostly a combination of both. Lee and Hughes are close to the 25-man, if not on it. Both pitch in good parks. Both have very good stuff. I don't think either will be a 60+ inning guy but both could be solid 40ish IP guys if things break right. I only have 8 pure relievers on my team so I need at least a couple more.Out of curiosity, which of these two factors are emphasized towards the top of your running list?1) Likelihood of ending up on the Opening Day roster regardless of any upside limits2) The quality of a player's tools/stuff without regard to whether they start the season in MLB, AAA, AA, etc.Damn... There's been some guys -- not young prospect types, but typically veterans -- who I've discovered are pretty much going to make the 25-man. So I've bumped them up a lot ... only to think later "Is this guy really that good?"Conversely, I've bumped down several wunderkinds who are supposed to be starting out in AA (despite positive spring returnsMostly a combination of both. I try to avoid the guys who are below AA, or getting their first taste of AA this year. Gary Brown was probably the one exception that I would have picked, just because I can see him putting up 60 insane ABs in September. Guys who have some experience at AA are fine. And even a guy without AA experience could come up after a half season, but the number of those guys who hit the ground running is pretty low. There's been some guys -- not young prospect types, but typically veterans -- who I've discovered are pretty much going to make the 25-man. How often do guys go from AA in April to "nice MLB half-season" in October? Not sure ... it's been done some, I do know.
I will play catchup either tonight or Friday at the latest. I just hate the point where I haven't a clue who to take. And that happened about 12 rounds ago...i can helpNot even one taker?'Bogart said:Can I pay someone to finish my draft for me?

This has been my problem. There have been a few players who I badly misjudged on, going way earlier than I thought. Not to mention others who I might have taken too early.I know who I want to take. Ditto, but most of you guys are way more 2012-MLB savvy than I am, so I don't necessarily trust my own judgement. This has been my problem. There have been a few players who I badly misjudged on, going way earlier than I thought. Not to mention others who I might have taken too early.

Good chance of both. An injury or two from anything.Question for the house:
Do you think someone that has yet to be picked will have, at the major-league level:
a) 500 PAs in 2012, or
b) 150 starting IP in 2012
Larry Boy times out at :33 after. We can skip RnR til I hear from him. I will PM Brady.40.21 Pedro Strop
