WIS 2012: Back to the Future II - Draft and Season Thread (2 Viewers)

Can I get a post season stat bump for Zito and Delmon.
:goodposting: Let's add Panda in there too. And I could use another 30 IP from Verlander even if he wasn't great in the WS. Overall 28.1 IP, 16 H, 6 BB... wouldn't love the 4 HR allowed though.
If you get Verlander's playoff numbers, you have to take his All-Star Game numbers as well.
If I take them both, can I also have Kate Upton's numbers? :popcorn:
Sure. They are 38-27-36. And they are spectacular.

Looks like you can call your guys up from the minors right away without waiting until after the first game.

Good work guys

In all 9 games my team has played, everybody has scored at least 3 runs. The winning team has scored a minimum of 6 runs.

5-1 in games where my players aren't exhausted and unusable...

things are looking up if I figure out a way to survive the season...

Can someone explain baserunning settings to me. From what I've gathered so far (in regards to base stealing settings):

3 and below = never ever run

4 = almost never run

5 = run all the time

I would like something between 4 and 5 for some of my runners (base-running aggressiveness currently set at 4 if that matters).

the way WIS describes it (and that's all i have to go on) is that a "3" will have the player run about as often as he ran (SB attempts) in real life. i've found that to be reasonably true in past sims.

Got tired of my pitchers hitting so much and changed pinch hitting to a 4. Big mistake. Among other fun things, Raul Ibanez was playing SS in a 1 run game after ph for Aviles when I had other SS available. Odd.
