Should be the SS for HOU full time. And it's Lowrie.
And he kind of sucks
Yeah, expect a 330obp and bad defense.
.330 obp sounds kinda good...
Not over 60 games though

NOOOOOO!!! I was going to take him. Crap crap crap.
Out of curiousity, what is the recommended way to use Ortiz's at-bats in this kind of draft? Just put him at 1B every day, live with the lack of D, and forget it? Only use him for 100 or so PH at-bats? Or what?

Yeah, put him at 1B and live with it, he has 200 points of OPS more than anyone else left. I figured there was no way both Papi and Butler would get picked around the corner.

I shied away from Papi and Butler because I had no idea how they would be rated defensively. Guess they are worth the errors at some point.

Exactly. At this point in the draft, the risk is worth the reward compared to the other hitters available. That probably wasn't the case 4 or 5 rounds ago. Given no defensive issues, they're top 5 round picks.

9.08 SP Johan Santana
I've been waiting on this one.
READY FOR OPENING DAY!!!!!!!
Good risk/reward in this format. Even if he only gives you 80-100 IP, they should be very usable. As for fantasy leagues...
I think he'll either be usuable in all formats or no formats. I guess he could just break down again, but I think that would happen sooner rather than later. Having said that, right now the Mets seem to think he'll be their opening day starter (waiting for the next ligament to snap).
