Looks like a losing battle but I'd rather not go 40 rounds. Two reasons:A. I've been planning for 35 rounds and drafting old schmucks more than young upside guys.B. I don't know any more players.
Mildly opposed to 40 just based on not wanting to change the rules mid-draft. Who cares though, I'll roll with whatever.I took Lou Marson, C, CLE with 31.12 Eeph.Skips (not counting today)28 . 22 ( 670 ) LB_44.... SKIP29 . 03 ( 675 ) LB_44.... SKIP30 . 22 ( 718 ) LB_44.... Bump for Eephus, unless he's saying Olsen is gone. (he is pretty good, so I can see why he would be)5:30 34 . 24 ( 816 ) TRE...... Scott Olsen, LHP PIT

I'm fine with going to 40, although if someone is really bent about changing rules mid-stream I'd rather not do it.40 round pollIN FAVOR (13 - need confirmation from RnR)TreTU/Tre SammyDoug BGrecobobucarowRnR (presumably)eephusHoosfirst/eephus (hoos needs all the depth he can get)scoobusrodg12bogartjfrancoOPPOSED (5)osospartycheeseSNCmoopsMIA (1)Larryboy
Good question. Here's my Solomonesque ruling. There was a majority but not an overwhelming consensus on the extra four rounds and there is nearly a full round's worth of picks outstanding (23). I also suspect some people made round 33 and 34 picks under the assumption that we were going longer. So how is drafting these extra 6 players gunna work?
So we can each make 1 pick at 10 AM, then another pick at noon, and then another at 2PM. We can't take all 3 at 10AM. Correct?Good question. Here's my Solomonesque ruling. So we're going 37 rounds for sure with three first-come, first-served selections (rounds 35, 36 & 37) Monday at 10AM, 12 noon and 2PM Eastern time.
If more than 45 total picks have been Monday 6PM Eastern (excluding make-up picks for earlier rounds), we'll do the same free-for-all procedure on Tuesday for rounds 38-40. That's the equivalent of 15 drafters making their allotted three picks. If 45 or fewer picks are on the board Monday, the draft is over after 37 rounds.
In either case, any and all make-up picks must be made before Wednesday midnight Pacific time. Larryboy is the only guy who has a case for an extension.
