It totally made my day this morning when I saw the Pirates kept Josh Rodriguez (their rule 5 guy) after all. For a while it looked like they would return him to the Indians where he could be buried behind Jason Donald and Orlando Cabrera and Jason Kipnis.

Man, I really hope my 2 catchers stay healthy and give me a full season. Every decent smelling turd has been picked at that position. Lou Marson? Sheesh

I think my defense should be good to great with Reynolds and Ibanez being the only average defenders on WIS in prior years. My top 3 starters are a strong point, and I'm hopeful that Cashner/Bailey come through with some upside. I have 10 options at RP, so hopefully a few of them hit. There isn't a whole lot of power on this team, but Tulo, Young, Reynolds and Ibanez will hopefully provide enough pop. Catcher and 2B are wildcards, but I am hopeful.

 
Well, Matty May Treanor gets shipped to KC for some spending cash.

I hate that he and CJ seemed to have a good connection.

In other Rangers news, looking more like Borbon is not going to make the Opening Day roster which means Hamilton will play center, Murphy will play the corner and Mitch Moreland will be the only "OF" on the bench.

Rangers also looking to go with an 8 man bullpen and a 3 man bench. Lots of ABs for Mike Young now.
