Batting Totals 4671 4132 227 753 69-31 604-451 18.2 .302 .371 .528 C+/C

Pendleton single handedly destroyed my slugging, but as a #8 hitter with a number of PH options off the bench, I am not too concerned. I at least have three good defensive players (if you dont count a catchers arm, just talking range and the like). Even so, not too bad a line considering I have a bulk of my PAs for both MI, 3B and catcher taken care of.

Pitching Totals 71-38-35 1,099 2.75 .221 1.11 6.74 2.80 0.65 820-341

At 1100 innings, not too bad.

Looks like a fairly balanced team. Defense is still going to be an issue range wise - most of my guys are A or B, but with D/D+ range. Lynn will be B/B- in center surrounded by a couple statues, and Pendleton brings a much needed A+ range to the left side of the infield.
Wonder how I compare?Batting Totals 4510 3837 100 546 106-44 578-583 38.3 .289 .385 .434 B+/B-

Pitching Totals 73-46-28 1,196 2.76 .219 1.06 6.81 2.36 0.56 903-313

Hitting-wise he's got me beat in slugging, but I have him in OBP and defense, so it could be a wash.

Pitching-wise we are pretty even so I am pretty confident I should compete.

We sort of had the same strategy of going pitching heavy early, but he went the power route and I went the on-base route with hitting. I like the way wew have to pick a strategy and go for it.

Like the offense. Not so sure about that 1.0 HR/9 and the 1.15 WHIP.

Blyleven's 1.66 HR/9 over 272 IP doesn't help much. I think offense is elite and pitching will be average...that's what I'm going for anyway.

I hate my team...

Batting: 5861 5184 226 753 143-50 847-582 22.9 .295 .367 .487 B/C+

Pitching: 1,193 3.21 .230 1.20 7.42 3.15 0.92 982-417

Offense might be OK, but other teams will have a fiesta against my pitching.

This is not good.
Congratulations on winning this week's Captain Obvious Award.

I should have kept my Uber blog. :kicksrock:

Neil Allen SP

Eric King SP (4 walks a game is ok in this thing, right?)

Pretty surprised that Socal sniped me on Downs - I thought he was pretty full in his pitching staff (which is better than mine, especially considering he got Scott, but even had Scott been someone very good but not that great).
