WIS V All-Time Baseball Draft: HARRRRRRRIFIC (4 Viewers)

quick help........got the guy on IM

points based 16 teamer.......

pitching staff.........buehrle, blanton, chad cordero, turnbow, ray, loe, marquis, myers, radke, baker, capellan, carmona, crain, janssen, kronoka............

i have been offered ervin santana and bronson arroyo for chris ray and my choice of any of my pitchers

thoughts? is it as good an offer as i expect it is and which guy do i send back?
Arroyo has had great streaks in the past. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him go into a severe nosedive. Happens almost every year to him. Also has to go around the NL for a second time....I think you'd be buying high on Arroyo.
Agree, I wouldn't do it personally :shrug:

really? scoring to date

arroyo = 178

santana = 90.5

ray = 153

only reason closers covetted is because they have less likely hood of having a bad week

Arroyo can't possibly keep up his pace. I'd stick with Ray.

Kevin Brown SP 2000

SO what do you guys think of the Smoltz pick and the Brown pick?

Both have numbers comparable or better than harrrrrrrrrrrr's supposedly good Sutton and I got them 4 and 5 rounds later. :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

Arroyo and Santana don't do much for me :shrug:

Eephus are you here?

Eephus selects: 1988 Wade Boggs, 3B
Well that went quicker than I thought. Mrs. Eephus still isn't ready to leave for SFOCall me at 415 215 9031 if it gets back to me today

Ralph Kiner, OF (1949)

Need a bopper. Kiner didn't strike out too much (61) and is right-handed which is a slightly better in my park. Not a huge + number on AVG, so he'll probably hit .240-.250, but hopefully he'll have 30+ HRs.

Nice. :thumbup: Just need a little power out of him. My +4 doubles park hopefully will salvage a lot of 2Bs out of near HRs...

Actually just hired someone part time for some clerical ####. She doesn't have the option to sleep in when she wants.I had a late night, had to change a meeting. Something "urgent" came up. :unsure:

Tre - what is WJ's HR9+ for 1913? .23 seems like a big number for back then.

Yeah, league avg was .13, so he's in the negative.Forums still seem to like him. He gave up 9 HRs that season, so I kind of took it with a grain of salt. Sammy thinks he'll give up 50.

Don't like that it's using 2004 stats. I'd prefer 2005 but I'll give it a shot if I can make it work with OOTP6.
I was hoping for current rosters too, that's why I took the D-Backs (ton of young talent). You would have to use OOTP5 to start, but I think they're looking to go to 6 at a later date.

Cobbling together the past round or so...

I am definitely going pitcher here, so if Pickles isn't drafting a P, I have no problem with him drafting...

I will be about 15 minutes or so../.

That's actually why I didn't jump in when you did. I saw you take the Dbacks and that was the team I wanted.
