WIS V All-Time Baseball Draft: HARRRRRRRIFIC (1 Viewer)

The only suggestion I would make is to make TOs 2 pts instead of 3, now thast we have sacks in there...

Not a huge thing, but throwing it out there...

The only problem I have with this is that a turnover is more valuable than a sack. I'd be open to TO's being worth 2 and sacks being worth 1 if you guys think there are too many points to be had in defense, but I really think the TO should hold more weight than the sack.

I'd be for 2 for TO, 1 for sack...Otherwise a 5 sack, 3 to game where they allow 10pts will be worth as much as a RB going for 200 and 2 TDs

 
defense stats are affected very heavily by strength of opponent in college...be careful not to give defenses too many points because then you are just rewarding teams that have the weakest schedules rather than the best defenses

8-2 in my last 10 and I've lost a game in the standings...

Still only one up on Kraft, who I cannot shake...

On the plus side, we're both 5-5 1/2 up on the WC...

I was just looking at the College league standings from last year, Jag what won it for you(for the most part)? Waiver pick ups? Draft? Poor competition? Luck? Or did you actually know what you were doing?

I would say experience played a big part in it, although I was awfully surprised how well most of you did last year considering most hadn't ever played in a college league. Prior to this league last year, I think I had played college fantasy football for 4 years. I would say that's quite a bit more experience than most had. Other than that, I hit on a few of my sleepers (missed on a bunch as well) and had some help from the WW.

It was my first time, I was really overwhelmed with the sheer volume of players especially on the WW. Lot of fun though, had more fun following that league last year than any of my pro leagues.

:thumbup: I've always had more fun with the college leagues. If I remember correctly, I thought you had one of the better teams at the conclusion of the draft when I started looking through them.

It was my 2nd college league but first wide open league, the previous had been restricted to BCS schools.
 
Just got a Job Offer today... terms not yet determined. Have to figure out what to ask for. It is my lead client and an unbelieveable career opportunity. Would basically amount to Director of Marketing/Communications.

Have to determine if I want to go full time as an employee, or work it through my company and whether I want to go 100% or 75% and hold onto a couple other select clients.

Willie Mays has been a total surprise. A known underperformer's second best year ('54) and he is just under .300 with a .537 SLG and the guy is an RBI machine.

Maybe if you'd lose a series our division race would be good also. Everyone over .500 now and 1, 2, 3 in the wildcard race. I'm cooked down the road.

And why do only nine teams have better home records than away?

I posit it's because we all suck at this, just in varying degrees.
