Very disappointing season, especially after playing like gangbusters from about games 15 through 50. I thought that was reflecting the true nature of my squad ... but they've been playing .400 baseball for 100 games now, despite various managerial moves

Too many mediocre performances. Only spot starter Dan Gladden and sub Roger Freed have hit .300. Most of my pitchers have .290+ OAVs. And I've had to relegate high-round pick Lefty Grove from the rotation to mop-up.

We are far from finalized, but it seemed that the consensus for next season would be some type of split era where on League was say 1910-1930 and the other Modern players, 1995-present or something like that.

I don't think I'd be down with using players that I've already beaten to death in regular roto/fantasy baseball. Part of my admittedly flighty attraction to this sim is getting a guy named Debs Garms on my team. Jocko, Gabby, Schoolboy, Preacher, Chief, Honus..... I know that makes no sense, but the numbers (which comprise about 95% of this thing) sort of bore the hell out of me. Too many Joes, Jasons, and Juans playing today to be effectively countered by the Cocos, Dontrelles, and Princes.

I made the playoffs. I know we mentioned this before above, but I'm in a state I don't live in (NJ) and have been drinking on the company dime so there.Also, Lefty Grove has been my third best pitcher. After I was scared to draft him and then did and people (HARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR) said he sucked.
