There are a lof of these kinds of threshholds throughout these sims. That's why so often razor-thin statistical differences leads to wildly different sim results.

One thing I have always wanted to do is play one of these sims a second time, all over again with the same rosters and stadiums. Always wanted to see how consistent team performances would be from one iteration to the next.

Sammy's (97+ wins) and jfranco's (95+ wins) teams have had by far the best regular seasons in the AL, with Brady, Spartans, and SoCal (all ~90 wins) lead their divisions in the NL.Six teams are still alive for two playoff spots in the AL. The AL East is a three-team race among Hoos, SNC, and Kraft (all with 76-77 wins with two to play) ... and the AL East winner will have a losing record (79-83 being the max possible). There are also three teams fighting over the AL WC berth (Tre and Eephus at 85 wins, me at 83 wins).

In the NL, two teams are battling for the WC slot -- Doctor Detroit (87 wins) and Greco (86 wins).

EDIT:

... and with Tre winning his PM game today, I am eliminated from AL WC consideration. Eephus has to win the PM2 game and Tre has to lose for there to be a tie and a one-game playoff.

I'm pacing the league with 26 blown saves with 9 coming from Hoffman who I thought would be a little better. It's an odd year for closer and home runs both seem out of whack.

Starting Verlander for game 7. In game 1 at Bennett Park he gave up 9 runs in 1.2 IP and allowed 4 homers. In Game 4 at home he fired a 2 hit shutout.

Sadly, game 7 is at Bennett again.
