With Gates out...more touches for Ryan Mathews? (1 Viewer)

With Gates out does anybody agree with me that the Chargers may try to run the ball more today............therefore bumping up the touches for Chargers running backs?

That's my thought. It isn't just that Gates is out. Their top 3 pass catchers are all out and they are playing against a team with a good offense. I think this will be the first game finished because I'd expect 60 total rushes between the teams.

SD is going to have to score a ton to make up for the points given up by their Special Teams.
