With Matt Jones OUT and Jerry Porter likely OUT as well (1 Viewer)

I'm thinking Mike Walker might be a good play even vs. the GB secondary - who as a group hasn't played well recently. Question is, does Walker get Al Harris or will Reggie Williams get him? Anyone rolling with Walker as a desperation, boom-or-bust play this week? Seems like a lock he gets 8+ targets.

I think Reggie Williams will be the play if there is one. IMO the real upticks to be had here are Marcedes and MJD. Rather than 8 targets being a lock for Walker - I'd view that as best case scenario.

Reggie by default here. Walker has been battling injuries and not active for about a month (iirc).

Actually considering Reggie over Braylon (painful to type) w/ JAX @ home after 2 brutal road games. If Porter is out I think RW will be a decent WR3 play. GB will put up about 30, and the JAX offense will have to pass in this one. And the O line is getting better.

Mike Sims-Walker(changing his name for reasons I'll mention later) has battled injuries lately. But he also watched a good friend die in a pool of blood due to a knife wound over Thanksgiving at a club in Orlando. Reports are that Mike was not present during the attack but was called by a mutual friend and rushed to the scene. Also, this past weekend Mike's father lost a battle with cancer. Mike is petitioning the NFL to change his name to Sims-Walker(which is his born name I believe) to honor his dad.

Brett Favre responded with an epic game to a family tragedy, but it's impossible to know how Mike will respond. Obviously during such times our fantasy teams are not his top concern. I'm not trying to bring anyone down with this info, just thought it might play into some of your choices.

Porter is out? Holy cow Batman, what are we going to do? Also, how will we know for sure that the invisible man is indeed out as he never garners stats anyway. :lmao:

Another cog in the disaster called Jacksonville.

Walker needs time to get his head on straight and grieve and...just do whatever. Maybe playing is good for him but, how can you start him after what he's been thru

Anyone else notice that Garrard went from the #6 QB in the FBG rankings to #16 in a day?
Despite the underwhelming stats, Jones is very good. On a better passing offense, his numbers would look considerably better.

I'd love to think he'll come out and go off to pay them tribute. However, I don't think anyone in the Jacksonville passing game will be worth owning. If Lewis was going to be roster worthy, I think he'd have shown it by now. Jones Drew is probably going to see a ton of touches down the stretch, but defenses will key in on him even more. I guess time will tell how that works out, but I'd start the hell out of the little guy.

Inside Info from a Packer fan. Hawk has a groin injury and has had a tough time covering TEs in the flat since week 5 or so. Lewis is the guy this week.
