With Todd Heap gimpy...who are you plugging in? (1 Viewer)

I was lucky enough to pick up Marques Colston (TE eligible in my Yahoo! leagues) in 3 leagues and he will start in place of Heap in all of them...

plugging in wilcox now. with a late game i feel i have to; against a weaker opponent, with the injury occurring yesterday, i think heap sits

no one, cause we only do waivers on thursday and thats it...half the league doesnt want to change it either which screws me over big

Since there are no WW starting TEs left for the 4pm games I've got Wilcox penciled in now.

If Heap is inactive it's a no-brainer, I'm 50-50 trying to decide whether or not to stick with Wilcox if he is.

T. Williamson.

Not thrilled about the Bear matchup, but it was either Williamson or Housh. Don't trust Housh in first game back - especially in hostile Pitt where he is ALWAYS a marked man.

I'm in the same boat...I had to pick up Wilcox this morning because I had traded Dallas Clark for Lee Evans yesterday before Heap decided to do some bedroom gymnastics.

Somebody dumped Chris Cooley after his dismal performances in week 1 and 2 and I picked him up off the wire. This injury might linger so I needed someone who might be more than just a one week replacement. I'm hoping Brunell gets Cooley going again.

Same here. Cooley is facing Housotn, so hopefully he can get on track.

After drafting Heap, I drank the B.Watson kool-aid.

This week, Heap and his ankle get the bench...let's hope that B.Watson kool-aid turns out to be Red Bull.

With Gonzo on bye, I've got to decide between:

Wilcox

Cooley

Owen Daniels

I'd lean toward Wilcox if I knew that Heap was going to be held out today. Any update on Heap and if not, when would we know?

Ravens have a 4pm kickoff so I wouldn't expect to hear anything unt after 1pm today. My CBS league does allow me to change guys up to 5 minutes before kickoff but I think I'd rather have a 100% Wilcox than a 50% Heap

Same here- before the injury I had Heap penciled in because I liked his matchup. The nice thing is that Watson plays tonight so there is a slight chance I could still start Heap, most likely I'll start the healthy TE. So I'll drink some more of the Watson kool-aid, been trying to cut down but can't- started Watson over Heap last week too.

For some reason Baltimore always lists people as ????. I would not be suprised at all to see Heap start and play well.

Traded for Heap this week to fill-in for Gates. In a league with limited waiver pickups through the year, I'm seriously considering just taking a zero at TE this week if Heap can't go rather than burn a move on Wilcox and his three or four points.

I was wondering on Wilcox whether he got his points in two TE sets with the defense focusing on Heap. I believe that is the case. In three starts last year, he had one very good game vs. the Colts with Heap on the shelf and two games against the Titans and the Lions where he dissapeared (0 catches, 0 yards). That was my thought process in opting for Cooley. But, neither is a slam dunk. Just hoping for some points rather than a big fat goose egg.

I'm thinking I grab Bubba franks off the wire and plug him in...GB TE's seem to get a lot of red zone looks from Favre and I think the Det-GB game will be a shootout.

Thoughts on Franks?

Well I have Heap on my 4 teams so I'll be watching the news for the next 45 minutes and if he's not playing I'm gonna be plugging in.

Ben Watson x2, Chris Cooley, and I'm not sure Shockey or Clark

same boat. this is watson time. i hope.-biz-

Drafted Cooley to be my 2nd TE. Luckily saw that Heap hurt himself stretching <snicker> last night before lineups were due.
