If you watched SNF you know Witten broke Irvins Cowboys record for receptions. Odd that they had a chance to juxtapose and celebrate two of the best WRs to play in our lifetimes, but both of whom have been oft ignored by the national media. FF owners have certainly not forgotten these two studs. But in the same game Roddy White surpassed Terrence Mathis as the career receptions leader for the falcons. Just heard an interview with Mathis on sportstalk. apparenetly he ia a second year OC at Savanah State. Now the fact that they scheduled FSU/OSU makes sense. The SMURF was never afraid of anyone!

Falcons wide receiver Roddy White, with a catch in the third quarter, became the franchise’s all-time reception leader on Sunday.
White moved ahead of Terance Mathis, who had 570 receptions.
White entered the game against Dallas with 570 catches. His fourth catch of the game came on the Falcons’ first possession of the second half. He had six catches for 110 yards at the end of three quarter.
He kept the drive alive with a 26-yard catch over the middle with Dallas cornerback Morris Claiborne in coverage.
White, in his eighth season, received an ovation from the crowd when his accomplishment was flashed on the scoreboard.
Mathis played for the Falcons from 1994-2001.
