Wk 13 WW PPR Under the Radar (1 Viewer)

For those scrambling to make the FF playoffs looking to plug a Wk 13 (and possibly Wk 14) lineup hole, rookie Jarius Wright of MIN could be a great play.

- runs many of Percy Harvin's slot routes. Harvin still seen "limping badly" at practice and highly likely out

- received 43% (10 of 23) of MIN WR targets in Week 12. Put up 7/49 vs. tough Bears D.

- 3/65/1 with RZ TD recpt in Wk 10 vs. DET

- MIN likely to be playing from behind vs. mediocre Green Bay pass D

- Ponder looks to have regained some confidence after a mid-season meltdown

There are a number of slot guys getting more hype than Wright in the expert circles, but I think Wright stacks up well if not better than:

Amendola - still hurting and going up against SF this week

Bess - blew up last week but hit or miss all season with Hartline in lineup

Broyles - a darling of the experts but competing for targets with Young back and also Thomas and Sheffler and last week Stafford chucked it 61 times

Wright could also stack up well vs. other WR3-types including Tampa Mike (losing targets to T.Underwood), D. Bowe (Quinn sucks), M. Floyd, etc.

I'm no insider, but I'd be really surprised if Titus Young is active on gamedays after all that has happened - especially after the comments today from Raiola and Titus' own presser that couldn't even last 2 minutes before a Lions media relations person shut it down. I can't see how Titus can play another game for the Lions - but we are talking about the Lions here.I do like the call on Wright, though.

Young will be lucky if he's active all year. At this point it looks like he'll need an injury to the guys in front of him to see the field.

Young may not be with the Lions after today's :tfp:

You were reading my mind on Wright - I was just about to start a thread asking Minn homers on him. Love the matchup against GB with Harvin sidelined. I know targets-wise he seems to be a primary WR for Minnesota with Harvin out.

To those who have watched the game, do the stats corroborate with his actual importance to Minnesota? Does anyone have a snap % breakdown on their WRs? Do Minny homers think he's jumped over the likes of Simpson and Jenkins? Thanks in advance.

I'm a Vikes homer.

He's got some skills but has proven inconsistant. He played well vs Detroit but had several costly drops vs the Bears one of them in the endzone.

Love Broyles this week, game will be a shoot out and Titus Young isn't going to be there. I would guess 7 for 90 and a 50/50 chance for a touchdown.

I like whoever is starting besides A.J. Green this week

Santana Moss if he is available in leagues, that game should be a shoot out.

Julian Edelman the Patriots seem to have gone back to 2007 and are running it up against everyone

Golden Tate he is Wilson's favorite target and Rice is questionable

Brian Hartline/Davone Bess the Patriots will still give up yards and maybe a score or two.

Don't know much about the Vikes, but a found this little nugget on Tom Pelissero's twitter:

"Frazier said #Vikings are putting in plays specifically for Jarius Wright because of the confidence he's shown since getting his shot."

I'm on the train this week!
