Wk16 Game Thread - Baltimore Ravens at Dallas Cowboys (1 Viewer)

i could see mclain possibley getting a TD, but i wouldnt expect very many yds. the Cowboys run D has been dominate.

Choice might be a decent play. he will get plenty of touches, and he is deceivingly fast. i could see him breakin off a big one or two.

Will this game be available to watch on nfl.com ? Kind of sucks that as a Cowboys fan, I may not be able to see the last game in Texas Stadium.

Thanks, Time Warner.

yeah figuring the pregame and halftime stuff could be special this week. There's a ton of history they could/should highlight and if so that'd be quite enjoyable to watch. Also I don't think the general public in other cities has any idea how amazing the plans are for the new stadium. 50(?) yard jumbotron hanging over the field. Showing some of those plans would be cool. On the news this week has been construction stuff which couldn't be more boring. No way they're pouring concrete? He's got a hard hat on? Who would have thought! Hopefully you guys won't know what I mean tonight and they'll be some real good pregame and halftime stuff.I think they move Landry's statue after the game to the new stadium. Jerry Jones was jabberring how the likelihood of them getting a home playoff game is slim, people are paid to do it already etc. Still, I think they should wait. Some debate on the radio this week, maybe someone else can elaborate I was only half paying attention.

You do whatever makes sense.....if it's time or practical to move the statue, you do it.The Cowboys are not just gauranteed a home playoff game, they're not gauranteed a playoff game.....even if they win this game.To me, it's all coming down to next week in Philly....period. I don't think both Tampa and Atlanta win this week and I think Philly beats Washington. If that's the case, regardless of this outcome today, it comes down to Dallas in Philly for those two teams.

Barber is active and listed as the starter.Ray Rice is out.
can you please post the entire inactive list if you have it, thx
Sorry. Didn't have it all yet.Cowboys: LG Montrae Holland, QB Brooks Bollinger, CB Alan Ball, S Courtney Brown, RB Alonzo Coleman, LB Bobby Carpenter, OG Joe Berger and WR Isaiah Stanback.Ravens: OT Oniel Cousins, QB Todd Bouman, K Steve Hauchka, WR Terrance Copper, WR Marcus Maxwell, RB Ray Rice, OL David Hale and TE Edgar Jones.

:thumbup:They were late to be posted.Very interesting - no A. Coleman. That means that DAL has confidence in Choice / MB3 to be their two horses tonight.

The biggest news in the actives list is Fabian Washington as active. The Ravens would likely not have withstood Romo / TO / Witten without him.

The second biggest? Ray Rice. Not having a viable 3rd down CoP back hurts that offense.

Look for a ton of McClain (25 carries) and some McGahee (10-15 touches, 1/3 as targets). Heap should also be in the mix.

I also expect Baltimore to open up the playbook more. Some local media stated that the PITT gameplan was to vanilla. I expect more Mark Clayton in the mix.

This should be a very good game.

:pickle:

Well guys this ought to be fun. Company is here and I am off. Sucks being the only Cowboy fan in my own house. I guess that is what happens when you live in Maryland :hophead:

GO COWBOYS!!

I want to play McClain tonight over Sammy Morris but I think Dallas comes out firing and they've won 11 in row I believe in night games. Seems like Ravens could be forced to throw alot in this one and Im not sure how that turns into something good for Mcclain.

Guess we'll see. :hophead:

:hophead: Losing a starting CB kills this defense right now.I wonder if Parmele will get any touches with Rice out...?

Parmele is strictly for special teams as I understand it.I could be wrong - interesting thing to look for. I don't even know his jersey number.

The more I see choice play, the more I like him. He fits the Cowboys O very well, better then Barber if you ask me.

They are similar, but MB3 is not 100%. A healthy MB3 > Choice, but I agree with you that Choice does look solid right now.
I hear you. I think we can hold off on geting his bust ready in Canton for the time being. That said, he could be one of those guys who if Barber gets hurt in the preseason next year will be a strong play.Good God have the Cowboys D been good the past few weeks.
