I didn't see a thread for Wolf Hall. Anybody else in for this? Premieres tonight. Love Mantel's books. Great cast, including Damian Lewis as Henry VIII. Pretty solid reviews. Looking forward to this series more than I have any premiere in years.

If you plan to watch the first episode of Wolf Hall on Masterpiece on Sunday, you are about to witness one of the best dramas to come out of the UK for over a decade. Put Downton Abbey to one side, because this writing, acting and direction might as well come from an entirely different island. It is so much better...

Yeah, for such an understated show on a topic that we all know, it manages to remain suspenseful and fun.

Great finale last night. Everything so well done in this series -- the writing, the acting, the sets, the lighting, etc. As someone who loves the books, it certainly lived up to them.

Now, we just need Mantel to finish writing the 3rd book, and hope the band can get back together again for a second series.
