Most of the flack and jokes I've taken are a product of that partial information, which Curly has alluded to several times. She, and a few others, seem to get that. The rest either don't get it or don't care. I'm not upset about it. I've been around here a long time, mostly as a lurker in the FFA. Hell, that's what 95% of this forum is anyway. I just don't want anyone to feel duped. You have my word of honor as a man, this is not a fishing trip. 

I do sincerely appreciate the time everyone has taken, even if just to make a terrible joke. 

If everyone would prefer, I can just stop updating it, we'll lock it down, and I'll go on my way.

WTF has asked for the chick's identity?  The closest I've seen is folks asking what she does for a living.

You've been a good sport this whole time NRJ, don't get all serious on us now.   Perhaps it's hug fatigue?

I agree.  This has been an epic thread.  The schtick has been brilliant and it's been fun rooting for you. But don't risk her finding out.  End it now.  Just let me come up with enough material for one more Purse forum update before you ask for it to be locked.

That might be the way to go. I've known all along that the AR style details would likely never be posted. Can't divulge the juicy details like that on a fine woman like Marisa. "Hug and tell" is likely all we'll get on that front.

BTW NRJ, I really think you'd be in the clear should Marisa ever see this thread somehow. Sure, it might seem a little creepy, but it's not. It's the classic tale of a man trying to woo his neighbor in the most respectful way possible, and asking for help along the way.

I think she'd be quite flattered, assuming she'd laugh off our tasteless jokes, and focus only on what you've said.

Yeah something happened and he is trying to pull the ripe cord on this thread to save face.  Nobody is asking anything inappropriate and nobody is trying to find out who she is.  I think he has intentionally left off some key details in this story and I called it earlier.

I'm not asking for your speculation or back patting.  I'd just like to know if our hero has actually told us he tried to kiss her and got rejected.  Too many pages here.

I can't recall seeing anything posted where our hero was rejected from a kiss attempt.  Some of our angst is due to our hero's inaction.  Apparently there are details we're not getting that will explain our hero's lack of action.  Or something to that effect.

I don't believe anyone actually GAF what our hero's source of affection does.  It just would add depth to the story but no one is clamoring for it.  Let's all take a deep breath, chill out, and get back to the hugging.

Seems like you're right where you need/want to be, good on ya. Continue to nurture the relationship but don't be afraid to pull the trigger when the opportunity presents itself. You don't want some inferior non-FBG schlub usurping your place at the head of the table. 

 
NRJ - Dont want no details that would compromise your mission but please don't confuse us with 90 minute hugs. The past couple days were really strange as you seemed to invert space and time.

For example, if today you wash your car for 8 hours in a tank top and hat (preferably non matching) or halftime of the game tomorrow lasts 6 hugs.

Oh it was real, as real as it gets.  It just was not for 90 minutes. 

It was real because it sealed an understanding, a now mutually spoken understanding that they are pursuing this.  Their cards are on the table. They have taken a leap of faith in articulating the formerly unspoken.  This is good stuff. I wish the Colonel well.  I suspect he will be promoted to General very soon.

i was hoping the 90 minute hug led to her falling asleep in your arms because that's incredibly romantic and shows she trusts you completely, and would have been a great time for you to take pics of her whilst posing your boner.
