Between the Roomba and the watch, there hasn't been a whole lot of action this morning. Does Woot have stock in Roomba or something? You'd think at some point, people that regularly check out Woot would have bought all the Roombas that they're going to buy.

Pretty sweet-looking digital photo frame today for $49.99. Comments have given good reviews on price and quality.

Thinking of getting this but have never heard of the brand.

Sellout.woot seems to have a pretty good price on a DSLR body. Pentax K100D 6.1MP Digital SLR Body for $240

Anyone know anything about this video camera? My daughter has been wanting one, and has saved enough to buy this. Question: Can she do better than this for the price? This one seems to be about $100 less than you can find it anywhere else. I have never owned a video camera and know next to nothing about them. FFA brethren, help me out here.

it cost a lot more at amazon but somehow I can't see it being quality
This will just be a starter camera for her. She's 14, so she'll just be filming silly teenage girl stuff. So I'm not sure she needs high quality. Is this about as good as we could expect for the price?

on the plus side it comes with a hdmi cable

big negative is the 5x optical zoom

at this price if it sucks you should be able to sell it on ebay for about what you paid

Dual pack of breathalyzer keychains for $10, already sold out. That is one of those gifts that anyone can appreciate, would've been a great party starter.

forgive my being a n00bz0r, but what is a woot off? i've seen two different things for sale this morning, does it mean the item on sale just keeps changing? are they selling out remaining stock of old woot-stuff?

Yes. For 24-48 hours, they put up a certain quantity of an item until it sells out, and then immediately put up the next item. Some things go in like 30 seconds, others take hours (countdown to the first Roomba).

Normally they have one item for sale per day. When they have a Woot Off, they'll put up smaller quantities of an item, and when it sells out they'll put up another item. I'm sure it started as a way to clear out remaining stock, but now I think it's just more of a feeding frenzy. You'll see in the comments that people will buy crap just to keep the Woot Off moving. If you need a Roomba, today is your lucky day! :goodposting:

Come on nerds, buy the gamer keyboard.
 @ some of the comments trying to entice people to buy these out.
great way to save power - playing video games in the dark using a glowing keyboard - why I'd buy 3 of these to help save all the energy I could - and would guess they'd probably pay for themselves in energy savings in perhaps even just a couple months

definitely a must-have

Excalibur Forever Flashlight$4.99 * + $5 shippingCondition: NewProduct: 1 Excalibur 422-YD Yellow Damper Forever Flashlight See that it doesn’t go off while you’re cleaning itWait, which one is my rifle again?Ah, I remember those late nights behind the barracks, cleaning the rifle. I used to go out there so as not to disturb my fellow recruits’ sleep. Unmolested rest was precious in those days. The drill sergeants were hard on us—more hard on us than anyone’s been hard on me since, that’s for sure. I remember they called us “fresh meat” when we arrived. Well, by the time we were in our bunks on the first night, we were beat meat.I recall that during the first week one kid got jerked off the obstacle course, apparently because he hadn’t polished his helmet the night before. He got sassy, slapped the sergeant, and just like that he was in the stockade, looking at a very messy discharge. That made an impression on me. I could tell then that if I wanted to make it, I was going to have to take my destiny in my own hands.I wish I’d had one of these Forever Flashlights back then! How much easier would it have been to clean the ol’ rifle if I could have seen what I was doing? I wouldn’t have had to worry about batteries, either, just given the thing a shake.Ah, what does it matter now? Those days are long past. I could probably still perform a complete rifle-cleaning in the dark, though. Some things you never forget. Like my military days. That whole chapter of my life was seminal.
Awesome.

Asus eee PC 900 today - new for $169. Heck of a deal - this was a $400-$500 system a year ago. It runs linux instead of XP and DOES have an Atom Processor.

now hold on just a minute hereWe're fixing some stuff. Or making a few changes. Or just generally fiddling around with things. In any case, the site's down, but should be back up before too long.Sorry about that, see you in a bit.
:lmao:
