THanks, in for a pair. They would have cost me $360 at Amazon.Those long serrated bread knives are great. So many uses other than bread, like carving meat or even slicing tomatoes. A very versatile knife.

By "got" I meant ordered. I haven't received it yet.
I just received it but haven't opened it yet. I'm going to open it right now.<pause>
1. A Western Digital hard drive (IDE). It doesn't have any packaging -- it's not even wrapped in cellophane or anything. It was just in the box, naked. It also doesn't come with any cables to hook up to the power source. It's 120 GB, and has a "29 Aug 2003" stamped on it along with a smiley face. I think this is it. This by itself surpasses all my expectations.
2. A pack of five CR2025 batteries. This would be cooler if I hadn't just bought a pack of these a few months ago (and the battery turned out not to be the problem anyway).
3. Two jars of Todd's Bayou Dirt Creole Seasoning and Spicy Rub. I considered purchasing these when they were wooted, but I passed. I'm happy to have them in my random bag, though.
4. A step pedometer. I guess you put it on your shoe and it tells you how far you've walked or something. It actually came with a manual.
5. A green burlap-like bag that holds four wine bottles. I figured the last part out because it says "WINE WINE WINE WINE WINE" on it.

Great move by Woot. Their deals have been getting progressively worse. I just don't think they had the resources to keep getting great deals to people. Selling to Amazon was the best thing that they could do at this point. It will be interesting to see how this matches up with Amazon's Gold Box deals.
The AP picked up the story of Amazon's acquisition, and quoted from the woot blog entry about it. So, just like the AP would do if a blog quoted one of its stories, woot is demanding $17.50 from the AP for using the quote.
