I'm really hoping a TV comes up, though I doubt it. I think my 7 year old Philips 27" for the bedroom bit the dust the other night.
 We'll probably see that Infocus DLP again ...

Which isn't a bad buy. I'd consider one. I'd love to get rid of that stupid 400 pound Sony I have in my livingroom now.

Feel free to send it to me!! My problem is while that InFocus DLP comes up a good bit, it is not a bedroom TV. The 27" was a perfect size and I don't think I've ever seen a TV that size on woot. I probably need to look elsewhere.

Anyone know if this RAM is any good?

How do I check to see if it would work with my Dell computer?

This is what shipped IN the computer:

256MB DDR SDRAM at 333MHz

Ah ... yup, that Infocus is way too big for a bedroom.I'll tell you what, if you want to make a road trip down to pick up this behemoth Sony, I'll trade it for a 12 pack of Sam Adams.

It's the 35" Trinitron series. Still works good ... but takes up too much space and isn't used nearly enough now that I have the projector in the livingroom.

Coop, I appreciate the offer GB. However, I don't think the wife would buy the "I'm just gonna leave you and the newborn here for a few days while I go to FL to get a TV....mmmkay?" :D

It should run fine in that machine, just not as fast as it potentially could. I wouldn't mix RAM types though, so you'd have to pull your 256 (or 2 X 128) stick and just go with the PNY stuff.PNY is a solid brand.

Yeah, and it has LEDs! :lmao:

Short of me opening up my case, is there any way I can tell what kind I have? Does the "PC4000" thing matter?

You can either RTFM or go to crucial.com and run through their "Memory Advisor Tool." The PC4000 thing just correlates to the clock speed of the RAM. As with most things computer-related, bigger number = better.

Printer is sold out ...

Woot is certainly zipping through these items today ... just waiting for the $70 breadmaker to bring things to a screeching halt.

If anybody got in on the PS2 controllers and now are having second thoughts I would love to take them off your hands.

Maybe I can buy one of the two?

The controllers were just sold out, and now they're back up?
They're trying to get me to bite.

:lmao: No, I couldn't do it. With shipping and tax it was nearly $30 and I can buy brand new locally for pretty close to that.

Does anyone have Mad Cow's office number? He needs to know there's a Woot Off so he can clear his schedule for the rest of the day.

It is a good buy... provided you didn't get three breadmakers in the last Woot-Off.

How about a $60 breadmaker? Half gone already.

breadmakers just seem to be the equivalent of 'the cooler' in wootoffs.

but it doesn't look like they have that many this time

This thread frightens me.
Don't be scared; just lie back and enjoy the Woot-Off!
What means this? And is it as dirty as I'm hoping?
Are you talking "washing your feet in the gas station bathroom" dirty, or "diddling some chick who frequents your bowling alley bar" dirty? Or both?
My feet are clean and I don't bowl. I was thinking more along the lines of "Getting the traveling impersonator's local girlfriend to call me Donny Wahlburg from the backseat of a Volkswagon" dirty.Whatever. Is this woot's version of an inventory reduction sale?

I think the Infocus TV's are all gone or very few remain........glad I bought one in October......the thing is a monster and has a crystal clear picture......

It's something like that. Normally Woot does one product a day. They'll sell refurbs or overstocks or stuff they buy by the pallet, I imagine -- usually at a decent discount compared to other retailers. During a Woot-Off, it's one thing after another.Exciting times and everyone's hoping to snag the elusive Bag of Crap (BOC).

$10 makes a world of difference apparently :lmao:

Which normally contains...?
Uh... well um... uh... crap.Wikipedia describes it better than I can:

Bag O’ Crap

In lieu of typical product sales, Woot occasionally offers the “Bag O’ Crap” (or “BOC”), a blind grab bag that includes dollar store items and can also randomly include more expensive electronics items. The BOC is marketed as one bag and shipping worth $5.00, and up to three "craps" costing $1.00 each. Orders are recommended purchased in quantities of three craps to minimize the percentage cost of shipping and maximize the probability of getting something of greater value. The "BOC" typically sells out within minutes of furious ordering.

Officially, the Bag of Crap is sold under the title of "Random Crap." Indeed, Woot's Bags of Crap most often arrive in a box, not an actual bag. Woot has also used the "Random Crap" moniker in more targeted sales, such as a random selection of desktop and wall calendars. Thus, a "true" Bag of Crap is only denoted by the presence of "Random Crap" in the product title without any other descriptive notation.

Since "BOCs" are often referenced in the Woot forums, Woot's forum software filters the text to spell out tongue-in-cheek phrases with the same initials, such as "Bride of Chucky" or "Beverage of Choice." A similar phenomenon occurs when a user types "refurb," which filters to "refurb (rox0rz!)," a nod to the controversial popularity of refurbished woots. In the past, the term "refurb" was changed to "Hurray! A refurb!" by the filter.
