Yes. Pole and core.

Some people... forgot there are a bunch of English majors in the SP.

IMO its really a three horse race. It goes: 1. Jacksonville 2. Cleveland 3. Chicago

The other teams actually have bonafide talent on their rosters.

Tennessee has Britt who is arguably one of the best in the league, and Williams is emerging a bit too.

St Louis has Brandon Lloyd who led every WR in the league last year, as well as some nice slot guys.

Denver has a 1st round talent in D Thomas, and a good looking player in Decker. Royal is a solid slot guy too.

Seattle has Rice and Baldwin.

Tampa is still young, but Mike Williams was fantastic last year, and Briscoe and Parker are good role players.

San Francisco has Crabtree, who is quietly turning the corner into a quality NFL WR.

Minnesota has Harvin.

The three teams listed at the top don't have anyone remotely close in talent to Harvin, Crabtree, Britt etc.

Any vote not for Cleveland, Jacksonville or Tennessee is clearly wrong.

It's laughable to suggest that Chicago is worse off at the position than any of those three.

I assume that we're talking about their current state with Britt and MSW out or else Cleveland would be unchallenged.

St. Louis, Jacksonville, and Cleveland are all just awful. I guess Greg Little has the potential to be good and Mark Clayton is halfway decent when healthy, so I'd probably say Jacksonville. Their entire WR corps consists of players who would be lucky to make the roster of most teams.

I would have to say Chi with Cle a close second. Cutler, IMO, is an elite passer, and showed it in Den with decent WRs.Made a pro bowl in '08 if I remember correctly.Outside of Bennet, everyone there is basically poo. Put it this way, the Bears dont have one WR that would even see snaps in 4 reciever sets on teams with a good corp., like say Green Bay, Dallas, or New Orleans. Roy Williams is, well, Roy Williams. SAAAAAAAANSENBAKAAAA

seems promising, though I won't hold my breath.

It's Jacksonville hands down. They also currently rank dead last in passing offense with the fewest receptions and receiving yds in the league.

Oh, and without peeking, can you name the 3rd receiver on all these teams?
Only one I couldn't name was the Titans' WR3 post-Britt injury. As for the powl, tight race between the Vikes and Jags.
Your the second person to say this and I just don't get it. The Vikings have Harvin. Who does Cleveland have?
I like Little and think he's going to be a stud in this league eventually. So I don't consider Harvin vastly better than him. I'd rank it like this:Harvin > LittleJenkins < MassaquoiAromashadu < CribbsCamarillo = NorwoodBrowns have the better corps there imo, but it's admittedly pretty close.

The thing about the Vikes is that Harvin could make the 53 man roster for any team in the league.

You can't say that for any of the receivers on the Jags or the Rams.

Brandon Lloyd? He made an incredible one-handed sideline catch last week as well as catching the only TD in the game. Hard to think of a team wouldn't find a spot for him.

Exactly, then throw in a pair of so so vet TE receivers in Shiancoe and Watson along with two up and coming freaks in Moore and Rudolph. Tennessee shouldn't even be an option. Britt is on IR, but he's still on the team. Washington isn't a very good WR1, but he looked a lot better as a WR2.

Lloyd is very good. So is Little. That's why I go Jax. Thomas, Hill, and Sims-Walker are all just so below average.

Aside from the fact he led the league in receiving last season. Lloyd is at least a WR2 on any team but maybe Dallas and Atlanta.

Harvin has a lot of credibility in this thread for a guy that hasn't done much this year.
:goodposting: haven't looked but I imagine Jason Hills numbers blow his away, and he is on the current 'worst receiving corp'Eye disagree. Eye think MSW, Hill and Willford are decent. certainly knot the bottom off the bear elle.

Pretty good, but Berrian is a free agent.

Damn.Camarillo then? I've got no idea. The only player that matters in Minny is a RB anyway.

Curiously, berrians numbers have been.consistent throughout the year!

Timely thread considering the Jaguars and Browns square off Sunday. It'll be riveting to compare these offenses.

Both their defenses are top 5 against the pass coming in, but the Jaguars lost Rashean Mathis for the season so Cleveland's WRs should have an easier time. Of course, with MJD going against that 30th ranked rush defense Jacksonville might not even try to pass.

Massaquoi has have a bad foot all year long, and was out for last week's game. He's definitely not 100% of...whatever he is.

It's time for Jax to see what they have in Shorts and West. Sure seems like Chastin West was getting some PT last week since he lead the Jags with 5 targets. I like the long term upside of both

...and I could name the top 4-5 WR's on every team in the league (and probably more than that), but I'm not sure why that would be impressive?

last few games he's missed because of concussions, not the foot

MSW is on IR and Wilford isn't on the team anymore.

Cecil Shorts has had a bad hammy. Looks like he's a go this week, but he needs at least an offseason of development before he's ready to do anything in the NFL at WR.

will he be ahead of Dillard/West when he makes it back? seems the team is purposely getting those guys PT to see what they are made of. Not sure Jaason Hill is the answer and somebody could emerge out of no where to become Gabbert's go to guy...
