Would David Wilson be the top back drafted in this class? (1 Viewer)

Just trying to get an idea of how these kids coming out stack up to Wilson, and by extension figure their chances of having much of an impact this year. Seems a pretty meh class.

I think he, Lacy, and Bernard would be in a fight for the #1 spot a;lthough some would still like somebody else more than any of the three.

You're going to get a lot of answers that are skewed based on the fact that they have more information on David Wilson than anyone in this draft class: Flashes of NFL success, Knowing which NFL team and situation he's on, Combine numbers, etc.

Good points all. That's why I love the RSP and other resources that stick a numeric value on a prospect pre-draft.

I think solely as prospects (trying to ignore Wilson's NFL career to date), I would have Lacy a bit above Wilson. But since we already know his spot and he's flashed in the NFL, Lacy would have to go a nice spot (praying ATL) to make up for it. If Lacy went to ATL, I would most likely prefer Lacy.

Guessing it'll be Lacy ahead of Bernard, and earlier in the first than Wilson last year. Also like him better as a prospect than Wilson if they were in the same draft.

Without knowing any more about Wilson than we did at this time last year I think most people would have ranked Lacy ahead of him because Lacy is the prototype back.
