I voted no but that is because I haven't been to a college football game in probably 10 years so wouldn't expect to go this year.  COVID is not a factor for me.

Wouldn't go anyway, but sorry fellas, they ain't playing. Like JohnnnyU said, check your fantasy bylaws for how you handle the supplemental draft.

Poll will be very misleading.    It should really only answered by folks that attend games yearly to get the info you're looking for.

The vast majority of college football fans across the nation that attend games are either rich boosters/graduates, students, or rumdums who fall into tickets. Unless there's a cure I'm not risking the rumdums

These.

Haven't attended a college game since Darren Sproles was at K state.

As much as I enjoy the game, I won't attend in person regardless of a vaccine.

I doubt there will be a college football season, but without a vaccine, letting thousands of people gather in a single building is a recipe for disaster. Places like the Big House, Death Valley, and any other major college stadium would be breeding grounds for Covid 19 on a colossal scale.

Why not?  When your number is called, it is called.  That being said, it is tough to say without knowing more facts - like where are we relative to a 2nd wave etc. I am not going to take dumb risks and I am not going to be a jerk who has no regard for fellow man (I have been quarantined for going on a month,), but I am also willing to do things if I believe that the risk to myself and others is minimal.

Sure, but I won't be cutting in line.

Why would I attend a college game when the NFL is the superior product? :scared:
The players are obviously far better but the game day experience is about 10000x worse than going to a big college game. Attending a live nfl game is one of the worst ways I could think to spend my day now.

College is better, but the NFL is still fun.  I just don't like going to 1PM games because of Redzone/Fantasy

I generally agree as I have been to many Chargers games over the years (closest NFL team) and the atmosphere has always been blah......probably due to it being a Charger game.

This year I went to Minnesota for a game and the atmosphere was outstanding.  The stadium was so loud I could feel my eardrums vibrating.  It was an awesome experience and I cannot wait to make another trek there for a game.

Voted no, but I would also not go to a college game if there was no virus as well. I have never had any interest in any college sports, and I am not a huge fan of the business concept of being ultra profitable due to not having to pay your employees.

I actually agree with this. RedZone is one of the best viewing experiences around. Maybe it's me getting old but watching football for 6.5 hours straight all by myself (when I have numerous bets going across multiple platforms) while eating my own food and drinking my own drinks (which are going to be better than any stadium) is just simply better than paying a bunch of money, standing in lines, not having a clear view, etc.

NHL >>>>>>>> better in person, though.

As some one who has never been to a college game and maybe a dozen NFL games.

Almost get the feel

College games  are fun

NFL games are like a job

If Ohio State plays their scheduled game at Oregon this year, I’m going, vaccine be damned. I work in a hospital. I’ll be dead or immune by then.

Then you weren’t at the Rams/Chiefs MNF game 2 years ago.
I feel the way you feel about NFL with regular season basketball. Meaningless and so many are yawners. NFL games have more meaning. More fun to go to. Until teams are out of contention.

Usually get invited to one game a year at The Big House by my buddy.  If there’s a season (which I don’t know why there wouldn’t be at this point) I’d go

You should start a thread on this with a non leading poll.

I have a different opinion than you on this but I think it could make for a fun discussion.

I haven't gone to a college football games in years but it's not because I haven't wanted to. Just hasn't happened because of ticket availability, life, etc. That being said, no I will not attend a game this fall without a vaccine. Because of there being no vaccine, not because I normally don't.  Won't even be looking for tickets.

My wife and I normally go to about 3 music concerts per year. We have a really great venue here for that and it is something we really enjoy. We have both agreed that even if they open things back up, we aren't going to any concerts until there is a vaccine.

Given your position, that's not surprising.

FF is (one of) the best thing that ever happened for the NFL.

I  love attending college games--but I would not go to any massive gatherings with no vaccine.  Heck--I manage a small but busy jewelry store in Southern California--and I'm not sure if I feel comfortable going back to work once things open back up.   I have a weak immune system and I am the primary caretaker of my nearly 80 year old diabetic mother.    Our showroom is only 450 square feet and we generally have 2-3 employees working in a pretty small area.   If we get more than 2-3 customers in at a time--social distancing is basically impossible.  On top of that--working on people's jewelry and watches is very risky--as these are items that are in contact with peoples skin.   I already purchased a UVC sanitation chamber that I plan on putting in the shop to sanitize every watch/piece of jewelry that comes in---but I feel like it's still very risky for me. If I get exposed to this thing and take it home with me--that literally could be a death sentence for my mother.   Probalby not the proper thread for me to disclose this dilemma but needless to say--I'm pretty torn on what I should do once things open back up.

Sure I’ll go.

There are hundreds and hundreds of people at Walmart, Home Depot, Aldi, Dollar Tree, Sam’s Club, Costco and more. The numbers still aren’t spiking in MN despite all the close quarters. Healthcare workers are being laid off. The models are wrong. #ReopenAmericaNow

Huh. The numbers are absolutely spiking in Minnesota and thats including that less than 1% of our country's population has gotten  tested.  That doesn't mean that your answer to elect to attend a game is invalid--but your premise that the numbers aren't spiking is not justified. If the numbers start to come down--it will absolutely be a result of a lot of people following social distancing protocols.  Yesterday Minnesota had the biggest jump in the number of Covid cases to date.

I guess we have different definitions of spiking. 157 still hospitalized. 74 in intensive care. 109 new cases. 5.64 million population. We’re on our 26th day of this.

We can’t shelter in place until a vaccine is found. Wash your hands. Stay home if you’re sick. Protect the elderly and vulnerable. Go back to work and school.

The number of people infected and sick at home are exponentially higher than the numbers that the hospitals are reporting.  Like I said--less than 1% of the population has been tested--and virtually every state has told its' citizens to self quarantine unless they firmly believe that they are in danger of death.  You can't just test 1% of people and say--the number of positive tests relative to the entire population (including the 99% that have not been tested)  is extremely low.    I assure you that if massive testing was done--the number of infected would be exponentially higher--and the death rate would be extremely lower.   However--knowing how many people are actaully infected is huge--as flying blindly basically makes our elderly, immuno-compromised, asthmatics, the obese, and our citizens with underlying health conditions sacrificial lambs to our economic interests.  While there are countries on this planet that be willing to do that--I personally think that it would be disgusting if America did that. We were once the beacon of morals on the planet--and now we're talking about sacrificing large portions of our population for economic motivations.   That just seems very un-American to me.  In any case--I do admit that I probably hi-jacked this thread enough--and I apologize.  Let's just both agree to disagree in order to let this thread get back on track.   Happy Easter and my best wishes to you and your family.

This.

People waiting for a vaccine to get back to living are going to be waiting a long time.

eta - I voted yes but I was interpreting the meaning of the poll, I have been to one college game in the last 20 years so I probably wouldn't actually go (even though I would).

Voted Yes, but I am a fan of a school that has about 200 people in the stands, so it would be hard not to be more than 100 feet from someone else.
