Would you be nervous placing all your eggs in Dallas basket? (1 Viewer)

Dallas has one of the most fantasy friendly schedules the rest of the way:

11 Nov 21 DET

12 Nov 25 NOR

13 Dec 5 @ IND

14 Dec 12 PHI

15 Dec 19 WAS

16 Dec 25 @ ARI

17 Jan 2 @ PHI

I was impressed with them against NYG, they looked like a totally different team. Contemplating a trade that would give me Kitna, Bryant, and Witten the rest of the way. I am already rolling with Witten and Bryant so just talking about adding Kitna as QB1.

Would anyone out there be nervous about some sort of impending meltdown with Kitna, which would essentially sink three of my players?

I'm not sure I'ld do that. just because if Kitna has a bad game most likely the others will too, and then you'll 3 players in your line up that did poorly.

Plus I believe Garret had full control over the offense under Wade and not sure what has really changed since the firing of Wade.

I'd be nervous putting all my eggs in any one basket. But Dallas doesn't scare me any more than some other team. I'd be okay with Austin, Bryant, Kitna, depending on the rest of my team.

If you believe the press pretty much everything has changed about the culture. Enforcing team rules, full pad practices all week, and I think it really showed against the Giants. They basically manhandled the best D in football.I ended up doing it. If things go south I can bench Bryant for BMW, Harvin, or Steve Johnson so no huge downgrade there. Witten and Kitna I will be forced to roll with.

I thnk those that kept their Dallas parts of the passing game like Austin, Kitna/Romo, Dez Bryant and also Felix Jones will be rewarded. Those guys are going to play big down te stretch as they get things ready for 2011. Felix will be back for sure. Dez and Miles too. Interested to see if Romo makes his way back on the field.

Kitna can be INT prone, and there's still a chance Romo returns during the FF playoffs.

:lmao: that would be my biggest concern, Romo coming back

Unfortunately our trade dealines coincided with Wade's firing...but I have held onto the Cowboys I own and will start with confidence. The Giants were touted just 5 days ago as the best team in the NFC and possibly in the NFL...and the cowboys tore them apart like a cornish game hen. This is the type of shift you have to jump on in order to win it all. Not saying I will, but this is a nice break in the status quo and if you held/could not move your cowboys, it should pay off going forward.

Why would they bring Romo back with the season basically lost already?
He's not on IR. Jones would probably want to see what they do with the franchise QB in there and also find out from Romo what it was like working with JG in a HC role instead of just an OC hat. Jones is going to have his pick of te litter this off season for head coaches. Garret going 6-2 or better down the stretch is probably his worst nightmare.

If Garrett goes 6-2 Jones will be crowing about how Dallas developed Garrett into a great coach, and how Jones spotted his talent before any other team did. :blackdot:

So, what is the reasoning for getting Romo back on the field? Tanking what little they have left of the season? I could see it happening though.

1. Ticket sales2. Garrett's job security in question (he will want as many wins as he can get)3. Romo developing chemistry with Dez Bryant4. Romo's recovery is ahead of schedule. Garrett has stated that he will play the best players.

We have slim pickings for available defenses this week and they are just sitting there. Think Dallas can put up decent numbers?

Plus don't forget the important one - he is played to pay. Without IRing someone I can't remember the last time a star who was perfectly healthy just stood around for the last 3-4 weeks of a season just because they weren't in the playoffs.
