Would you trade Cohen? (1 Viewer)

10 team 1 point ppr league.  Start 1QB/2RB/2WR/1TE/1Flex

My team   QB - Russell Wilson/Jameis Winston/Mitchell Trubisky     RB - Le'veon Bell, Ty Montgomery, Tarik Cohen, Doug Martin, Wayne Gallman

WR - Adam Thielen, Chris Hogan, Jarvis Landry, Doug Baldwin, Randall Cobb, Willie Snead    TE - Kelce/Doyle

I've got a pretty strong team going at 3-1.  I was asked what it would take to get Cohen.

His Team - QB - Cam Newton, Marcus Mariota    RB - J Stewart, J McKinnon, M Ingram, David Johnson, C Thompson, S Vereen

WR - AJ Green, Diggs, Sanders, Fitzgerald, Sanders, Benjamin, R. Matthews             TE - Gates, Clay

I'm not sure if anything short of AJ Green is going to dramatically improve my team and I'm fairly sure that's too much to ask for Cohen.

This is a keeper league where anyone drafted after the 10th round can be kept forever.  Cohen is an eligible keeper.    The only thing that intrigues me is that David Johnson is also a keeper.  Might be worth seeing if he's willing to part with Johnson who may not help him all season for Cohen who will.  But then with Johnson's history there is no real telling that he will be worth more than Cohen in the future.

Any opinion is appreciated.   Thanks!

I would trade Cohen to the Howard owner. You won't get a better price. But I don't think you'll be getting David Johnson. I would try for a WR2.

I wouldn't say it's out of the question, the guy who is asking me drafted Stephen Gostkowski in the second round.

I agree that I shouldn't get him.  Just not sure if I should ask just for the Hell of it.

Oh yeah you can always ask, he sounds somewhat impulsive so if he goes for it great. The keeper tag alone makes it worth the chance.

If you think there is any chance that Cohen will be better than DJ in the future then there is nothing anybody would give you that would be worth trading Cohen.  I find that to be a very ridiculous statement that a primarily 3rd down back that splits time with Bennie Cunningham is anywhere close to a single RB that also catches 70-80 balls a year while putting up close to 20 TD's are anything close.

If the Johnson owner can keep him forever there is no way he will give up Johnson for Cohen.  You can ask and if he accepts then thank you lucky stars.

You might like Cohen way more than anybody else. I think Johnson would be a steal for Cohen, as would Diggs. Frankly, I'd make a case for Benjamin too.
