6 QB's in the top #13 picks??? Only 6 RB's?? Wow. Any one have an opinion about this? Oh, and it is NOT a PPR league either?

The only thing that I can figure from this is that all td's are worth 6 points, even those scored by QB's. Without PPR this devalues rb's and wr's more. Lets look at it this way. If the top 5 qb's average 40 td's per year and the top 5 rb's average 15-20td's a year there is a big disparity. I think that the drop off from the top 5 qb's to the next tier is much bigger than from the top 5 rb's to the next tier. That is the ony thing that I can figure out as to why 6 qb's went in first round.

Like I said, pretty basic Dynasty.I did realize though that QB's are getting 6pt per TD instead of 4 like in most leagues .... would that change your opinion and make you go QB with the 1.01 over ADP? I am up with the 1.01 and am suddenly thinking about Brady or Manning now instead ...............?????

This is funny. My friend was telling me about a league he joined, on my way home yesterday he calls me to say his draft is starting at 6PM, and the other confrences have drafted already. He says can you believe the 1st 2 picks are QB's!!

I come on here, see this and it's the same league.

Its about 9PM. He got home thinking maybe he will be on the clock and HOPING ADP/Sjax or Addai will be waiting for him.

Instead he sees LT on his team.

That's probably the most absurd thing I've ever heard of. How could a commish assume he could do that?

If it's a Dynasty league where you keep your players forever QB's get a bump in value (especially the elite ones) because their careers normally last longer than RBs (plus they score more).

The first year I got a bunch of my RL friends to try out a fantasy football league this is kind of how our draft looked. They were all big football fans, but had never played fantasy football before so as someone mentioned they equated the importance of QBs in real life to their importance in FF.

Simply put, the league in the original post is probably a bunch of first-timers.

Can you say novice league?

I was in this league AFC and at first it was a twelve team league, then a 16 team, then a two conference AFC/NFC , and then a third conference. We all lost are drafting positions because the commissioner saw this or other post and blew the league up. Pissed me off … I had two first round picks.

I just had to leave this league just to many questionable novice trades and flip flopping by the commissioner and after blowing things up he says no refunds, huh... I paid pay pal buddy. I'm getting my little twenty bucks back alright.

Need Help, I was in this league and left because the commish was not running the league the way it should be.So i left and he said he would refund my payment to me.Its been over a month ago and nothing yet.I noticed that other people left as well and complained about how he was running the league.I tried emailing him and aim and havent heard nothing, now i cant even find the league no more on mfl.com. The commish name was Larry.It was only $20 but its the principle.It looked like i wasnt the only one that left the league and was wonderning if they got paid or if they are having the same problem that i am having with this guy.
