WR Calvin Ridley, TEN (2 Viewers)

Ridley is an also mentioned in this possible trade deadline list
ESPN stories like this are always the same as us looking at bad team and saying "yea they don't need this guy while losing so go get a pick." They never have any real ear to ground sources that something will happen.

More Ridley trade rumors floating around
There's a theory he could be playing but is being held out to be sure he's healthy enough to play.

When he hurt his hammy he wasn't all wincing. Later that game a number of smiley camera shots on the sideline. This seems to be the fuel to the theory.

All we really know is-
Knee, elbow, and hammy have been bothering him and he didn't practice Wed Thursday

Out for Titans
WR Calvin Ridley
DT Jeffery Simmons

Great setup for Dike in return leagues this week. Colts will be scoring at will. Just a matter of whether or not the Titans can make some plays too.
Kinsey was signed to active roster
Same as last week- maybe he spells him after work at WR here n there

It's hard to envision them taking Dike off returns. He has returned 100% of the Titans kicks and punts this season, and is doing so at an All-Pro level, leading the NFL in all-purpose yards, just ahead of Christian McCaffrey. I don't think there's another returner in the entire league that has taken 100% of his team's returns this season.

Yeah same discussion last week GB
I'm just saying it's possible here n there if he's tired at WR.

Pretty strong rumors that he's being shopped that it's now come to that the Titans must eat some of the contract.
I think it's reasonable to post the rumor here

Where? And who would give up anything for him? SF? Pitt?
I have a lot of issues with teams and WRs this year around the league. Rookies playing a lot of snaps with little targets. Guys that are known not good playing a lot of snaps. Intriguing talents sitting out. Blocking poor throughout.

I wouldn't trade for him because he's a practice player but...his bod is a specimen and someone probably will. Some coach will think he can fix him and utilize the fast tall leaper with mitts for hands.

I wouldn't have an issue with him starting over some of these 2s and 3s. It's a very weird year for development

Tampa is a team that could use him. I have feeling Godwin isn't himself until next year
Bucca hasn't done much as the main wr1 role with all the injuries. He hasn't done great with top corner on him.

Pelisero on Rich Eisen show said Titans are looking for a third for Ridley and will probably need to come down more

McCoy said Ridley would be working his way back but he doesn't have an update on him yet
So kinda non news

The Titans and reporters only share some drill work in-season.
Just a heads-up that the incredibly blessed athlete, Ridley, always looks good in drills and some are way overreacting to it. He's probably a top ten bod to ever play the position. It's never meant a thing since like pre-draft. Don't react to drills other than "he looks healthy." It's a trap

I was worried Schefty would be wrong today.
Nashville people had been told they'd see how he does in warmups but Schefter said he was expected to play.

He had three dings. I think elbow, knee, and hammy. He was on a bike smiling. He was standing smiling. He didn't look injured. No grimace no look of concern. It seemed quite reasonable to think he was sitting moreso for potential trade than for injury.

Having said that, I imagine he looks good and jumps in right away. I don't think there will be a game back to get healthy and shake rust off delay
