Is he getting a new team this week or next?
Maybe the Lions should do it for a 5th if that's all it will take. lol
Because their quarterback can’t even throw for over 100 yards!!!Maybe the Lions should do it for a 5th if that's all it will take. lol
Why?

I they sit tight he nets a 3rd round comp pick. Why move him for a 5th?Sounds like a 5th will do it.
Comp picks are tricky though. They'd only get a 3rd if he signs a big contract elsewhere right? Not to mention the comp formula takes into account what other guys walk (And their contracts) + what signings Carolina makes correct?I they sit tight he nets a 3rd round comp pick. Just needs to be in the top 35%. 50% is 3.2 million, $860,000 is the median. That's Devin Duvenay or Josh Reynolds numbers.Comp picks are tricky though. So I don't see if being black and white a 3rd. It very well could be a lot less if they are active in FA and Johnson's deal is small-ish.
I thought part of the process in figuring out comp picks was also based on the FA's that Carolina signs?Just needs to be in the top 35%. 50% is 3.2 million, $860,000 is the median. Why would Houston go after him? They already have Nico Collins coming backWell Diggs tore his ACL. Welcome to Houston, Diontae!
Sure, but they clearly value having 3 good WRs if they traded for Diggs even after having Collins and Dell. Not to mention going all-in while Stroud doesn't cost $60M+.Why would Houston go after him? They already have Nico Collins coming backWell Diggs tore his ACL. Welcome to Houston, Diontae!
It was kind of a joke. But for a 5th rounder why not.Maybe the Lions should do it for a 5th if that's all it will take. lol

Either way it was Joe Person with The Athletic who referenced Carolina maybe getting a 5th.
Why would they do it? I can only guess they are not 100% sure the comp pick in 2026 will be a third and/or they want more draft pick ammo in 2025.
@RapSheet
It’s a pick swap between the teams — Baltimore’s 5th for Carolina’s 6th rounder this year.
But that 3rd round comp pick!!!!

I don't see a scenario where either one of them is worth anything. And Bateman, Andrews, and Likely take a hit too. That was fast. I feel like Balt didn't need him but he can't hurt.
What's this do for Flowers now? 2 different types of guys but there's not a lot of targets to go around.
You think his value went DOWN after this move???Is he worthless now?
I think the problem is his value could have gone up more somewhere else. You think his value went DOWN after this move???Is he worthless now?

Henry, Lamar, and Hill running it at a crazy and effective clip. You think his value went DOWN after this move???Is he worthless now?
And that doesn't even factor in the need to develop chemistry with Lamar, which the other pass catchers already clearly have.Henry, Lamar, and Hill running it at a crazy and effective clip. You think his value went DOWN after this move???Is he worthless now?
Andrews, Flowers, Bateman, Likely, Hill out of the backfield, and now Johnson.
Who is going to feel confident starting anyone but Henry and Lamar?
I'd imagine so. Not exactly a high volume passing game most weeks and at least 3 guys probably ahead of him for targets. Is he worthless now?
Part of his value was the trade speculation. It is def better than the Panthers with a B. Young, but he could have gone elsewhere. I do not feel confident starting him going forward...You think his value went DOWN after this move???Is he worthless now?
I'd have preferred he stayed in Carolina even with Young.Way downYou think his value went DOWN after this move???Is he worthless now?
Oh yeah. Much would have preferred the Texans or just stay in Carolina with Dalton back under center.
Ravens defense does suck and probably going to be some good blowup games for Diontae here and there but good luck predicting which ones just like with Likely/Andrews/Bateman
