WR Josh Gordon, KC (6 Viewers)

Funny, they got rid of Trent (understandable), fired their coaches after one year, now Shanahan is ready to move on due to an apparent rift with the coaches. They flip flop running backs by the hour and cut Tate midseason. They draft a CB in the first round despite knowing Gordon was out and pick up Manziel. Yet, Gordon is supposed to WANT to be there. Yeah. Cleveland is the model franchise...Skipping that walkthrough was the best thing he could have done.

I think he should take time away from the game and get right. Because I care.
It is important to me that he not be able to play until he gets his life in order. My kids and I will feel better about him being our role model. We want to worship someone with great work ethic. Because we care.
It was boring the first time....now it just looks desperate and lame
You miss Soulfly don't you... You could private message him! Maybe set up a fantasy picnic with cheese and crackers!
Not at all...I was looking forward to the improved quality of posts in here...but it looks like you will make sure that doesn't happen.
You looking forward to quality posts? That's like Mike Tyson looking for a clean fight. Come on Bazinga! You went Jim Carey long ago man. Just stop it. Lol.

Right on schedule. Probably your best work since The Mask. Order has been restored.
What the heck is going on in this thread???

He is still very young and let's not act like Cleveand is some stable franchise with leaders running things. Other than the fantastic trade of Trent Richardson to an addict what exactly is stable there? The GM is probably leaving and the owner says conflicting things.

Gordon did very well at the car dealer by all accounts and hasn't failed a test. While he's a jackass he's 23 and not failing tests. I think he wants out of Cleveland more than they want to get rid of him. They probably demonstrated they only wanted him back clean to trade him and he checked out.

While he could easily fail I'm not putting it all on him.
Farmer is not leaving.
He keeps going backwards and he will. How's things going there?
Keeps going backwards???

Badly. They depended on a bonehead to be their lead receiver. He finally showed up, after the team supported him, and was out of shape, and ran the wrong routes.

But I heard he didn't get in any trouble for the two months he worked at a CAR DEALERSHIP.
What does any of that have to do with Farmer?

Although it messes up his FA status at the end of 2015, I really think that was a calculated move by his agent to get him out of there. Hoyer and Manziel or another rookie aren't going to get him the stats he needs to get a good FA deal at the end of 2015 whether he is restricted or not. His best bet is to be waived or traded to a better passing team.

This post made me cry, not because he wants to leave my Browns, but because a human being with a human brain actually thinks this.

Another coach/coordinator in only two seasons.

A source tells FOX Sports that the Browns are "parting ways" with OC Kyle Shanahan.
The dysfunction that has plagued Cleveland's organization for the last 15 years continues. Just one year after landing a talented game-planner and offensive schemer, the Browns lose Shanahan on the heels of a disastrous Johnny Manziel pick and reports of "friction" between the coaches and the front office. Shanny (who was never on Team Manziel) reportedly asked for his release and was granted it, while quarterbacks coach Dowell Loggains was canned Thursday. Shanahan, who will interview for the Bills' head coaching vacancy Thursday and has been linked to the 49ers' vacancy, won't hurt for other offers. Seahawks DC Dan Quinn wants him as his offensive coordinator if he lands a job and there are also rumors of three teams interested in Mike and Kyle as a package deal. The next Browns' OC will be their ninth since 2006.

Dear lord, relax your ego for a minute. It's just a feeling (and Rosenhaus) that make me think that was a calculated move. There is a good 95% chance I am wrong, but there are two things that matter going into free agency. One is the status, i.e. being unrestricted or restricted and the second is how you actually play the year before you go into free agency. Maybe you think status is the most important, but I think Gordon playing like 2013 in 2015 and not like 2014 is actually more important.

Also, get this, gasp, Gordon could actually be a FA in 2014. Guess how? He gets waived. I have no idea if it will happen, but Desean Jackson got waived last year, so it can happen with a new coaching regime trying to make a statement.

Anyway, there are likely many, many people a lot smarter than you out there, gasp maybe even me (actually likely me), so relax and don't act like a tool.

Hard to act quite as tool-esque as you just did, but still.............just horrible still. Doesnt even need an explanation why.

At the present moment, with the unknown of what team he'll be on next year, where would you rank him in terms of a dynasty WR? Still top 10? Top 20?

Off topic but has anyone seen Soul-fly....or Soul-jaay? I would really like to know his thoughts on Gordon. And I mean this in the nicest way possible.

Josh is going to pay major dividends next year. I'm shocked he's made it this far but I'm all in at this point.

@AdamSchefter: Browns WR Josh Gordon flunked another drug test and now will be subject to a one-year banishment, per league sources. More on ESPN @ 6 pm.

What an ###hole

I can't help but laugh. Once I would bet on his talent trumping all but now I'm just waiting for the indefinite suspension for failing another test while having a year long vacation.

WAIVER WIRE FODDER. lol at those still trying to get anything substantial for this loser. If you still have him, you will keep him unless you dump him.

I hate to make it about me when this kid clearly needs help, but #### you Josh Gordon for ####### up my dynasty team's WR corps.

This clown just needs to get that pipe and light up in front of the Browns stadium on his way to living under a bridge or the nearest prison.

Shows how stupid he is, but also shows how foolish the NFL has become. Alcohol is legal for anyone over the age of 21, but the NFL can dictate who can drink a couple of Coronas?

Way overboard.......................

He got a DUI and according to the CBA alcohol is one of the things they test for if you get a DUI.

I get the complaints that alcohol is legal and he should be able to drink as long as he's not driving, but regardless, it's the rules. The fact is that he can't avoid substances even though avoiding them will make him a millionaire. If he can't avoid substances then he is either a moron or he needs help or both. Either way he shouldn't be playing in the NFL.
