Lol...you act like this saga is over!

Well, until the next situation....hopefully we can see a couple games before something comes up again. I am saying that as a selfish fan who wishes he could just play the next three years without any issue so we can see how dominate he can become.

when did he last fail a test or get suspended?

we're talking enough of a chunk of time that Im no longer worried.

in fact, as oppsosed to relapsing, he took the PROPER STEPS to get healthy. you know... despite everyone believing he just failed another test again, since he's a useless junkie and all.

I like you dude but you have no clue what actually happened or what he did.

Let's face it, JG has done multiple stupid things that have gotten him to this point. Everyone is justified in holding their breath, waiting to see what happens. No one wants to see him fail; we've just been burned so many times.

He's on the Commish's radar screen. He gets a parking ticket and it's going to be scrutinized. I've taken him in many leagues so far, some reaching as early as the 3rd round. I want him to succeed. I also want him to stay sober and pay his child support. And stay out of trouble.

I did not draft Gordon last night in my 12-team redraft - he went 4.08, so I never had the chance.

But i did draft Tyrod Taylor as a QB2 because of the weapons he has.

I may take a flier on Gordon in tomorrow’s draft now that he’s officially back.

6 seasons = 96 games. He has played in 40 of them. More concerning is he has participated in 10 games in the last 4 seasons (64 possible games). Bottom-line is he has a history of not playing football games. Now he just recently left camp and you seem to be the only one who knows why he did that. There is a pattern and if I was a betting man I would say this is not the last time Josh misses football no matter what the reason is.

Again, wish the guy well and would love to see him perform to the best of his ability. I just do not see that happening without more situations occurring causing him to miss more time.

HA! HE'S BEEN ACTIVATED, NOTHING CAN STOP HIM N..

Josh Gordon is dealing with hamstring tightness.

Gordon tweaked his hamstring in conditioning drills. The league cleared Gordon to fully practice, but the injury could force him to miss some time. Gordon's status for the Browns' final preseason game is up in the air.
Oh

I just can't do it.  He's burned me in the past.

He'll play through the season and have 1400 and 12, and win championships.

I'm actually optomistic he keeps his life together and doesn't get suspended.  But I've been there in the past.  Landry was brought in.  Between Baker and Tyrod, no one is lighting the world on fire this year.  Granted, he's done more with worse QB's.

So we have to get through the season without a suspension.  We have the hamstring now.  We have the fact that he's 5th round ADP, around guys like Marvin Jones.  I just don't forsee myself with many shares.

He fell to me in the 6th last night in my big money league.  I honest to God heard soulflys voice in my head screaming at me to pick him.    I was kindof surprised he made it to 6.3 and I quickly googled on my phone to make sure he was suspended or anything but alas he is all mine.

In a fun league I offered Mike Evans to the Josh Gordon owner, who wasted no time hitting the accept button.

One, it is a fun league amongst co-workers.

Two, Evans is inconsistent and has Fitz throwing to him.

Three, it's Josh Gordon. If he returns to his old form I'm thrilled.

My new league is looking for owners.

The funny thing is, if you ask people to tell you what year they think that article is from before looking at it, you will get 5 different answers.

Browns coach Hue Jackson said Josh Gordon (hamstring) will play but not start Week 1.

The starting designation does not matter, but this proclamation could hint at something of a snap count after Gordon sat out all of training camp and then picked up a hamstring injury shortly after returning. Gordon has as much upside as anyone, but he will be a risky play Week 1.

His press conference today sounded a lot like all of his press conferences, contrite, amenable but you always get the feeling that he could bail at any time for no reason. The dude is still fighting the demons hard, I don't get the feeling football is the main focus of his life (never really have had that feeling with him) and that kind of scares me. I mentioned it earlier in this thread, not sure the NFL is helping him. Sure they are taking care of his rehab stuff but I mean the lure of the good time around every corner. I'm not convinced Josh wouldn't be better off pushing a broom someplace making minimum. It's a tough situation and the kid has to realize that the only person who is going to make him better is him.

I just don't get the feeling he's all in and that scares me. Really think he's going to check out at some point this season again. If I was Dorsey I'd be looking for at least one and maybe two more vets to bring in at this point. If you get anything from Josh its icing. Kills me to see a guy with his mad, mad talent throw it away but I don't know that he's ever going to get right while he's in the NFL.

And yet, Tony Grossi (who covers the Browns. But never missed a chance to #### on the Browns) says this about today's conference

Josh Gordon portrays an air of confidence that he is in for a big, big season. I don't know what it means but he sure looks and sounds like he is totally focused on this season.

Okay. Okay. NOW I'm sold.
