WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, KC (1 Viewer)

Well that’s not awesome. As a SF giants fan, I’m intimately aware of the dangers of motorcycle riding, or as Jeff Kent refers to it, “washing his truck.
To be fair, I’m sure Juju is not the only player that can be a bit reckless. Imagine if Tomlin spotted him though.

Ugh. Yeah no bueno. 16 years ago I survived a motorcycle accident where my body went from 55mph to 0 in about 25 feet. It was miraculous. This is enough to make me consider selling *all* my Juju shares.

A bit extreme based on a 2nd hand report from a dude on a discussion bored, but I get it.

Imma hold and see if I can’t get 110/1200/8 out of him. ;)

JuJu is in for a big year but I'd be selling after the season. He's not a special player that can succeed in multiple situations. Almost a guarantee he won't be in Pittsburgh next season. Still I like him to outperform his ADP this year so it will set up a good situation for owners to sell high.

Oh yeah -  I would be unlikely to pursue him in Dynasty, but I love his redraft value this year. For a team going RB/WR/X or WR/RB/X near the top of the draft, getting Juju as your WR2 is solid.

So you think JuJu outperforms his WR11 ADP and that Diontae leads pitt in targets?  So you think they BOTH finish top 10 WR's this year?

If he was riding near the Pitt "campus", he wasn't going 55 mph. He'd be lucky to get up to 10 mph there. Most of the time the pedestrians on the sidewalks are moving faster than vehicles in the street.

JuJu Smith-Schuster caught all six of his targets for 69 yards and two touchdowns in the Steelers' Week 1 win over the Giants Monday night.

After a horrible 2019 where he battled injuries and bad quarterback play sans Ben Roethlisberger, Smith-Schuster showed flashes of his 2018 self in this one. He beat both CBs Isaac Yiadom and James Bradberry for a pair of red-zone scores from 10 and eight yards out. Diontae Johnson led the team with 10 targets, but JuJu was second on the squad and made the most of his with elite efficiency. JuJu was a major rebound candidate coming into the year with Big Ben back healthy, and he goes as his quarterback goes. Smith-Schuster will be a borderline WR1 next week in a tougher date with the Broncos.

JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) did not practice Wednesday.

Diontae Johnson (toe) was also sidelined Wednesday, leaving James Washington, Chase Claypool, and Ryan Switzer to soak up extra snaps. Neither JuJu nor Johnson looked to get hurt Monday night against the Giants, as JuJu hung a 6-69-2 line on 86% of the snaps and Johnson led the team with 10 targets. The Steelers face the Broncos in Week 2.

Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) practiced in full Thursday.

Smith-Schuster didn't practice Wednesday, so this is a hopeful sign the wideout will be ready to go against Denver on Sunday. He saved another otherwise pedestrian statistical day last week with two touchdowns against the Giants. JuJu should remain in fantasy lineups if he's a full go against the Broncos.

JuJu Smith-Schuster caught 7-of-8 targets for 48 yards in the Steelers' Week 2 win over the Broncos.

It was a quiet day overall for Smith-Schuster, who was second in targets to Diontae Johnson. He appeared to be recovered from the knee injury that kept him out of practice for some of the past week. Smith-Schuster should be a WR2 with upside next week a potential shootout with Houston.

JuJu didn't practice last Wednesday either, but he was out there for Week 2 against the Broncos, posting a 7-48-0 line on eight targets. The yards haven't been there for JuJu through two weeks, but he does have a pair of touchdowns and 14 targets to his name as Ben Roethlisberger's favorite red-zone weapon.

One of the best situations a #2 WR can be in he should be good/great all year.

Cmon. Did anyone really expect him to sit?

“Add me on your fantasy (team), I’m playing this week,” Smith-Schuster wrote, via Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com.

The caption was on a picture of Smith-Schuster working out in the gym on Thursday night. He also missed time in practice last week before playing most of the snaps in last week’s win over the Denver Broncos.

And it’s official - the 3 most beautiful words, “practiced in full”.

I really hope this isn’t a weekly schtick.

Steelers' JuJu Smith-Schuster: Practices in full Friday

(12 mins ago) Smith-Schuster (knee) was a full practice participant Friday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.

This comes on the heels of Smith-Schuster not taking any practice reps at all Wednesday and Thursday, before posting on his personal Instagram on Thursday that he expects to play Sunday versus the Texans, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Still, the Steelershave yet to release Smith-Schuster's game-day availability, which will come out in short order.

It’s official: no injury designation.

Steelers' JuJu Smith-Schuster: Good to go

(4 mins ago) Smith-Schuster (knee) doesn't carry an injury designation in advance of Sunday's game against the Texans, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.

Smith-Schuster, who didn't practice either Wednesday or Thursday, was back at practice Friday and listed as a full participant. In fact, the Steelers approach the weekend with no players listed with Week 3 injury designations. Smith-Schuster thus is poised to handle his usual pass-catching duties Sunday opposite fellow starter Diontae Johnson. The duo combined for 15 catches on 21 targets in Week 2's win over the Broncos, with Smith-Schuster logging a 7-48-0 stat line off his eight targets. Another busy day figures to be in store for both players versus a Houston squad that's off to an 0-2 start following losses to AFC powerhouses Kansas City and Baltimore.

JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) did not practice Wednesday.

He's been missing Wednesday practices all season but playing on Sundays. There's no reason to think anything different this week against the Browns. JuJu has devolved into a WR3 this season.

I thought that happened last season.
