WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, KC (3 Viewers)

Its hard to believe he can't even drink at a bar yet.  He's only going to get better and is already becoming a fan favorite.  Hines Ward 2.0
he seems to be faster than Ward. but I know what you mean

no way Bryant gets his role back after last night. JuJu has amazing potential going forward for fantasy purposes. obviously won't do 200 yards a week but 8 targets is something to get excited over

Loved what I saw from him last night, obviously. And having a valid threat opposite Brown will be great for the Steelers IRL.   My comment has nothing to do with Bryant... the offense is still going to run through Bell and Brown so he won't be the focus of the offense like he was last night.  I'll probably keep him, but if you didn't own him what would you give up to get him, again redraft only.

I would feel bad for Bryant, if it weren't for the tweet that he so promptly deleted. Someone needs to make a meme of Bryant when Juju ran for 97 yards, cuz right now, I don't feel bad at all

IMO as of now, yes. I own Juju, but not Davis.
Things lining up for DeDe Westbrook to crack this list before all is said and done. If you don't have either of those guys, i'd be adding and stashing Westbrook. I know it was preseason football, but he looked too good to just ignore. go look for yourself on youtube

I picked him up last week in 1 league. Tried to trade for him in another & was shot down.

the secrete will be out soon enough. I offered Mack for Davis and was shot down. Maybe if Westbrook gets eased into action, the owner will have a change of heart.

I suggested to my father to pick up a few weeks ago to pick up Fuller and this past week I suggested Ju Ju. I should probably suggest some things for whoever runs my team now.

But right now, I think Corey Davis > Ju JU > Westbrook

JuJu Smith-Schuster exactly the boost Steelers needed to complete offense

Does anyone have charting data for how often JuJu played outside and in the slot?

JuJu played on 80% of the Steelers snaps against Detroit which matches his total from two previous games vs Chicago and Jacksonville. Both of those previous games were losses for the Steelers who found themselves in chase situations unlike their recent game vs the Lions.

Justin Hunter did play on 20 offensive snaps 31% I am guessing primarily on the outside. Hunter had not played since the game against the Jaguars.

Eli Rodgers played on 19 offensive snaps 30% the most he had played since the game against Chicago.

Bryant the previous two weeks was playing on 52% of the offensive snaps averaging 34.5 snaps in those two games. So Hunter did not fully replace him.

Missed the boat on this.  Had him on my shortlist in smaller keeper leagues and he got snatched early last week in both.

Do we keep starting JuJu even if M Bryant playing ?
I'm going to start him this week for sure but that's more about my crappy team than anything else.  Regardless of that,  I don't think we have to be overly concerned with Bryant - I doubt the Steelers are going to be worried about getting him involved or whatever to help him get over being benched.  JuJu is a better player at the moment and I think the Steelers will ride that hot hand.  However, I still think tempering expectations is important because the Steelers offensive pecking order is going to be Bell, then Brown, then someone else.  Now, that someone else is most likely going to be JuJu but at best he'll be 3rd in line.

I have both in 1 league and I'm thinking JuJu is the play over Martavis.  That said I think there is a real possibility that Super Mart shows up and balls out.  The other leagues where I only have 1 or the other, I'm more comfortable when I'm starting JuJu.

Bryant is likely better than Hunter and Rodgers but I don't think JuJu and Bryant are competing for the role in the offense anyways.

Did Juju play more outside with Bryant out?

I don't have any numbers in front of me and I'm just going by what a saw/remember from the game - but JuJu lined up in the slot (like he did on the 97 yard TD) and at times outside as well.  My guess is Hunter is deactivated going forward and Bryant basically takes his small piece of the pie.

His value is quite high in dynasty. I just sold him & Ajayi for Fournette & Fuller
Who in their right mind would do that? Ajayi may have at best two years with his balky knees and Fournette could be a top back for 8 years. Juju for Fuller might be a wash but still...

I am surprised there aren't more posts in here. I guess he is still a bit of a hidden gem.
I think there’s still a lot of people that just don’t believe in him. There was a lot a skepticism around here about his abilities and NFL pedigree. There was/is only a few of us that believed in him pre-draft so there’s still some unbelief among the Fantasy Community.

What we are seeing now is the 2015 JuJu who dominated week-in and week-out. He’s still only a rookie but I still believe he’ll be one of the best in this draft.

Debating if he's worth #1 waivers this week or wait it out for 3 more weeks to see if someone else better pops up

and yes in 10 team league

I'd absolutely do it. Could be Top 20 from here on out at WR. He's for real and he'll see single coverage every game with Brown being doubled. Runs every route, can beat you downfield and has shown good Red Zone ability. Complete package.

Do it. I burned my #1 priority on him last week and have zero regrets. He'll be more volatile than most like, with an aging Ben and the offense running through AB and Bell, but he still has an established role in a high powered offense, meaning he has a reasonable floor with the potential for huge games.

Jump on him for sure.

thanks guys. will do it

Double-digit floor looks to be a reasonable expectation most weeks. Since Week 4 when he began emerging over Bryant he's had two games under 10 in PPR in six games and one of those was 9.8. So really one game under 10 essentially in his last six. With WR production down this season, a player locked into 10 points minimum per week is very valuable.

Agreed. Predicting WR floors are always dicey, since it's even more dependent on game script and quarterback play more than any other position. Heck, even AB, the poster boy for mega high floor and mega high ceiling put up 6.2 points in my half point PPR league.

That's probably where I'd put his floor (in my league at least). 4 for 40, which is 6 points in 0.5 PPR. I agree that he'll probably average a little more than 10 points going forward, but I think 6 is a reasonable bet for a floor for him on a bad day.

Compared to players on my roster, with his schedule coming up (HOU and NE in the playoffs is super juicy, with TN and GB in the mix before end of the season too), I'll likely flex him over Dez on a weekly basis (Evans and Baldwin being my other starting WRs) until Freeman comes back from injury, and even that will be a toss up for me. Just for reference for those trying to gauge his value.

He gets the Packers in Week 12. As a Packers fan I'm legitimately frightened to think about what Brown and Juju are gonna do to that putrid pass defense.

Good catch. I read GB but my brain interpreted TB. Either way, I love that match-up, it should be a great one for Juju.

This is two weeks in a row that I left him on my bench. It won't happen again. Also, after watching the game... it was interesting to see that when Ben really needed to make something happen, he was constantly looking JJSS's way.

I think he is 9th in ppg for my standard league.

If he does well this year, and it's not because Bryant or Brown got injured, I think it will be purely because of TDs.  He seems like he'll be used almost as a TE surrogate in the Steelers offense and a possible Red Zone target.  Wouldn't be shocked if he had 500 yards but 8 TDs.
Well he already has 500 yards and 5 TDs so this will probably come true. Just completely underestimated how good he'd be as a rookie. With Bryant getting few looks, and AB taking on double or triple coverage, Juju keeps finding the soft parts of the defense.  He has a good chance of reaching 1000 yards as a rookie.

I'm really scared he's going to have a down-week this week. Idk why but it feels like a logical place for a dip in his production on such a short week.
