WR Malik Nabers, NYG (1 Viewer)

Bit of a short-lived tease when it looked like Winston would be the QB this year.

Malik has already shown to be QB proof and will still eat with Russ throwing the rock, but the ceiling seems to be a bit lower now.
Yeah, I feel like all the Nabers owners got blue balled on this. Winston would've had him as a top 3 WR. Russ? I dunno, low end WR1 I guess.

At the end of the day, just think about what Nabers did last year with Daniel Jones, Tommy Cutlets and Drew Lock. As a rookie.
Definitely a lot upside left in Nabers tank. I have to eventually choose between him and Thomas with a returning Lawrence.

Well, he had 170 targets in 15 games. I have serious doubts he will come even close to that with Wilson at QB. Wilson already talking up Lockett, so it sounds like a reunion is possible there.

I love Nabors and all but people should expect a target share drop this year. Bad QBs tend to lock in on one guy. Wilson won't do that. Now if Jameis ended up the starter, to the moon with Nabors.

Honestly I think that’s a bit of an over generalization about QB tendencies. WR targets are earned and Nabers earns them in spades. As mentioned upthread though, I do think the ceiling would be a bit higher with Winston given his gunslinging ways.

Night and day on the bolded.

We will see I guess. I just think Wilson spreads it around more.

Why would he be unhappy with the Giants? They drafted him 6th overall, are making him the focal part of their offense and putting him on a trajectory where he's likely to earn more than $35mil a season when he's up for a 2nd contract.

I suspect he's very happy with how things are going in his professional life.

That’s a tough one. Might actually lean BTJ given the more stable QB situation and the Coen factor.
This is what I did as well. I have Nabors and BTJ on my taxi in one league (didn't need them last year). I activated BTJ for the 2025 season since T-Law will still tee him up. Nabors is a question mark for me. I expect a regression.

I’m sure it’s super fun to be stuck in a dumpster fire of a franchise and see yourself on a losing team for the next 3-4 years with guys like Tommy Cutlet as your QB.

Need some rock climbing gear? You are on edge, my friend. I think Nabers is having a fine time getting 170 targets/year. I don't think anyone believes they won't address the QB position sooner rather than later.

No, I’m totally fine. Not a Giants fan and Nabers isn’t on my roster. Big fan of Nabers though.

Definitely has the potential to be in the upper echelon of WRs (Chase, Jefferson) conversation but would benefit greatly from an upgraded signal caller.

Say you have an absurd amount of talent at WR without saying you have an absurd amount of talent at WR
