in the paid content section Matt Harmon wrote a terrific article "Reception Perception: Success Rate vs. Coverage scores for Sophmore wr's....great stuff and Beckham had eye popping numbers across every coverage scheme. Definitely worth a read.

 
This kid will break every single WR record if he stays healthy. He deserves all the hype that he's getting. Madden cover, #1 Jersey Sales, Idol status, etc...good for him!

 
I enjoyed that interview with the DB saying Cruz looked real good, faster than before. Beckham is fast too. who is faster? probably cruz no no well yeah umm cruz

He looked totally overwhelmed talking about the two.

I can only imagine what it felt like covering them if he spoke like that.

p.s. I cant believe this is being used as a negative? Beckham has two other predictors going against him as well. He is inexperienced and expected to be the focal point of the Giants. Inexperienced? imo The man coulda skipped College, from what Ive seen from some "Pro(s)" Go watch the LSU vs Texas A&M game (Baller!)

Its still too soon to say for me Capella. I wanna say Evans could eclipse Andre Johnson for just Baller status, representing both skills and power to not break down. But we still havnt seen Evans show out. Beckham is #1 to me w/o considering Evans :2cents: and any of the latest crop of Rookies

Hey Soul Ya think we made need to relax the idea that Evans is as especially awesome as we believe IF Evans doesn't play things up a bit more this yr? I mean yeah its a rookie QB, but if Evans is the real deal (rookie or not) He should start really producing Don't ya think?

Honestly I cant recall why I thought it may take a few yrs. So ya may not have me chiming in with ya before too long

including the fact that Evans did in his rookie season what Andre hasn't done once.

While he didn't really eclipse Beckham last yr. But I mean like look good enough for us both to say Evans is #1, not whoever else

Theres a post above us that didn't even mention Evans, and has like 5 WR's/RB listed

I have ZERO issue with someone ranking Mike Evans as the #1 WR in dynasty.

Like I said... I got about 5 in a tier that cann all be arranged as 1a/b/c/d/e...

I have Evans/Gronk at 6 fwiw. I wouldn't take him at 1...back to OBJ?

He would jab Mayweather's face purple with his left hand while choking Rousey out with his right while beating Usain Bolt in a 100 m dash and still catch the football he's so good. He's the greatest baseball player of all time as well. So good, he doesn't even need 1 at bat to prove it. I'm sold.

I don't know about all that. I just think he has the raw instincts of a Randy Moss, the route running ability of a Jerry Rice, and the animal magnetism of a young Charleton Heston. Most importantly, he plays the game the way it's supposed to be played.

Have people figured out yet that he can regress and still be the top WR?

I don't know if I have him at #1, but I know if he was on my team I would have a hard time accepting any one player offered for him.

It's all a crapshoot in that top tier. ODB, Dez, Brown, Megatron, Demaryius, Julio...just throw a dart. I'll take ODB because I'm a Giants fan.
 
Most exciting player to watch imo. I've got him tied with Antonio Brown on my rankings but the joy of watching him play every week gives him the tie breaker for me.
