@scoutdnfl
Tre Harris is going to make a GM very happy.
6’3 / 210 lbs
5.15 Y/RR in 2024…
7.7 YAC/reception
Can actually run routes
One of the few prospects that I am confident will outperform their current value. A potential @scoutdnfl “my guy” looming..
Elite Drafters
Tre Harris is a hill I will die on. Legit alpha WR1 with consensus 2nd round capital.
YPRR king of the class with 3.02 for career.

2025 Rookie Spotlight: Tre Harris, WR Ole Miss
He’s a polarizing prospect, but then so was Nico Collins, who I compare him to. Not many thought Collins would be special in the NFL, as he was another long, big man who could open up the field on occasion, but in the right situation he’s clearly thrived considerably

NFL Draft Files
Tre Harris is one of my favorite WRs in the 2025 NFL draft.
He’s a big body pass catcher with a whopping 45 career contested catches (48%) and he excels from a variety of alignments.
He’s elusive after the catch and has nuance in his routes for such a big frame at 6’3 215lbs.

Tre Harris NEEDS to be on your radar
1st in Yards Per Route Run (5.15)
1st in Yards Per Route Run Vs. Man (9.28)
2nd in Yards Per Route Run Vs. Zone (4.05)
Here’s what I LOVE:
Size: 6’3, 210 lbs
Production: 1,030 Yards, 7 TD’s
Contested Catch Rate: 61.5% (8/13)
Leading Ole Miss in Receiving Yards in consecutive seasons wasn’t surprising at all when you turn on the tape. He basically missed 5 full games and STILL cleared 1,000 receiving yards..
In his 7 Healthy Games: (2024)
100+ Yards in 71.4% (5/7)
175+ Yards in 42.8% (3/7)
Tre Harris is straight up fearless, he’s not afraid to go over the center of the field and take a hit. His footwork drastically improved in 2024, he doesn’t shy away from contact and has a ridiculously HIGH ceiling.
His efficiency was legitimately off the charts, Harris posted 17.2 Yards Per Reception while gradually increasing his Missed Tackles Forced Total (11) in EVERY season of his Collegiate Career.
Tre Harris is firmly in the conversation for my #1 Wide Receiver in the entire 2025 Class..
Elite Drafters
Tre Harris reminds me of a less explosive Randy Moss.
Analytically he is no. 2 in the 2025 WR class in career YPRR with 3.02. This is an elite threshold.
REMINDER:
Through eight games he had 1,036 yards, 7 TDs.
He was on pace for 1,673 receiving yards and 11 TDs.
-
He then injured his hip/groin area and was out rest of season. He was on pace for a historic college WR1 season.
Harris the past three college season put together three back-to-back 900+ yard seasons. He completed his 5th year and will turn 23 years old in February 2025.
Despite being a late declare, Tre Harris is a top-7 rookie for the 2025 class in dynasty.
Tre Harris has a strong profile. Elite production, elite size, and elite metrics in YPRR.
Strong draft capital as a 2nd round, proj top-50 pick provides a good floor for his hit rate as well.
Randy Moss - 6'4 210 lbs
Tre Harris - 6'3 210 lbs
He looks lumbering to me. I want to like him more, but have not got there yet.I will not fall for this.![]()

Prospect Profile:
6'3, 210 lbs
22 Years Old
Physically imposing, comfortable with going over the middle to make the big catch.
A really HIGH ceiling type of player who will candidly beat you with his strength, speed, and route running.
Efficiency: (2024)
1st in Yards Per Route Run (5.15)
1st in Yards Per Route Run Vs. Man (9.28)
2nd in Yards Per Route Run Vs. Zone (4.05)
He essentially missed 5 games in 2024 and STILL had over 1,000+ Receiving Yards..
Yards Per Reception:
18.3 (2023)
17.2 (2024)
Route Running:
Drastically improved in 2024, Tre Harris saw MASSIVE progress in his footwork specifically. Elite ball tracking and field awareness, I also found it very telling that his Missed Tackles Forced increased in EVERY season of his college career.
Red Zone Monster btw
Play Style:
Tre Harris is built like an NFL teams WR1, if you need a wide out to play "bully ball", here you go.
Physically imposing
Outside possession receiver
He's just fearless man. Also a very potent, gifted, and smart athlete who still has some polishing to do.
Player Comp:
Brian Thomas Jr.
Rome Odunze
I don't expect Tre Harris to have the blazing 4.33 (98th percentile) speed like BTJ but he can still thrive as a legitimate Deep Threat.
Projected Draft Capital: Mid 2nd Round
Tre Harris has a very bright future in the NFL.
Jeff Mueller, PT, DPT
I like Tre Harris because he’s:
•sharp in his routes (albeit inconsistently)
•great body control in ability to accelerate<>decelerate, change direction, navigate sideline
•wins vertically
•wins contested (see below)
Personally think he moves better than Tet McMillan.
He’s going to be cheaper in fantasy drafts (round 2?) as a late declare.
Injury history is not concerning long term.
He checks a lot of boxes that you’d want to see for hit rate in Rd2 of rookie drafts.
I also don’t mean that I would draft Tre Harris over Tet McMillan.
That’s not consensus, that’s not how they’re valued.
Harris missed the game with injury when Miller was at the game.
I am confused by Miller's post.
Harris is one I am still figuring out...DJ liking him is a definite plus.

Mingo.More AJ Brown or Jonathan Mingo? No in the middle answers. Commit one side or the other.

Tre Harris Vs. LSU is why GM’s will be ALL over him in the 2025 NFL Draft:
7 Receptions
102 Yards
1 TD
He CLEARED 1,000+ Yards this season while essentially missing 6 games..
His healthy 13 Game Pace?
110 Receptions
1,833 Yards
11 TD’s
Tre Harris is 6’3, 210 lbs

Welcome.
The Tre Harris Hype Train is boarding.
Who is buying tickets for the ride?
ITre Harris.
I’m fighting myself on who should be the WR2 of this class. Harris or Emeka Egbuka.
Both players are really really damn good. For NFL teams it is more of a choice of who do you need skillset wise for your roster & how does that player fit with the other WRs.
David J. Gautieri
Tre Harris didn’t just average *5.00+ YPRR* in his final season – he also averaged 2.15+ YPRR every single season of his career.
Career 3.00 YPRR.
1,000+ yards in just 8 games in 2024.
Either he made a deal with the Devil – or he’s going to be a successful NFL player.

He separated from defensive backs at an 88th-percentile rate. He’s the highest rated WR in this class but he’s #3 on my board. Can he separate, or are most of his catches contested? Isn’t that risky at the next level for sustainability?
I could be mistaken, but I thought I watched a podcast where they said he was always covered and had to rely on his contested catch ability most of the time, but I could be mistaken. He separated from defensive backs at an 88th-percentile rate. When we look at a receiver’s contested catch rate it tends to be unstable from year to year so that’s a metric I stay away from and I believe in time the Fantasy community will leave behind also because there’s no correlation from year to year to prove it’s a metric that shows success at the next level.I could be mistaken, but I thought I watched a podcast where they said he was always covered and had to rely on his contested catch ability most of the time, but I could be mistaken. He separated from defensive backs at an 88th-percentile rate. P.S. I’m not saying he’s the highest rated separatist in this class I had two thoughts.
First, he separated at a 88% clip and 2nd he’s the highest rated pass catcher not separator….so let’s clear that up. He needs to clean up his drop rate.
I just think he’s better than what meaning are saying at least his numbers tells me so now the injury if it’s a big deal to you then I understand.

Tre Harris is a WR prospect in the 2025 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.07 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 319 out of 3408 WR from 1987 to 2025.
Splits projected, times unofficial.

Would have been nice if Tre Harris didn’t have to run 25 hitches per game because he’s a pretty smooth route runner
@scoutd
Tre Harris is 6’3/210lbs snatching ankles like this…
60/1,030/7 in just 8 games. Lol.
Football Digest
Tre Harris. 4th and 7, 1-on-1 man with zero inside leverage given and he still creates the separation & breaks away
Can’t go wrong with his footwork at 6’3 210 lbs
Jacob Gibbs
Tre Harris is dominant vs. press/man coverage
+ Size/Strength/Speed
+ Ball skills
My comparison for Harris is a combination of Alec Pierce and George Pickens
Jacob Gibbs
Tre Harris is usually moving north-south. He's super powerful on the vertical plane and that's primarily how he chooses to move.
Occasionally, some decent wiggle and start/stop ability shows up in his film too:
Jacob Gibbs
Tre Harris produced over 1,000 receiving yards on just 190 routes run in 2024, good for an absurd 5.42yard per route run rate.
Health was a problem in college, and Harris is already 23 years old, but his film and underlying data show a player who could be among the top half of the NFL's X-receivers early in his career. He's a beast.

[5] Tre Harris (#OleMiss)
Height: 6’2
Weight: 205 lbs
DNA: Courtland Sutton, AJ Brown, Gabe Davis, Michael Thomas
Harris fans won't like it, but that Gabe Davis comp feels pretty fair to me. He's nowhere near the other 3. Michael Thomas/AJ Brown comps are just insane. Thomas was arguably the best WR in football for a couple years there, and AJ Brown is arguably the most physically dominant WR currently in the NFL.@scoutdnfl
[5] Tre Harris (#OleMiss)

DNA: Courtland Sutton, AJ Brown, Gabe Davis, Michael Thomas
He's nowhere near the other 3.
Harris is also part of a very non-NFL offense. I'm WAY lower on Dart for the same reason. Ole Miss runs a very college offense. I'd consider Sutton a best-case scenario. I think Harris is a middling 3rd round caliber prospect. Somewhere in the WR9 to WR12 range for me.He's nowhere near the other 3.
Let's not venerate Courtland Sutton too much here. Harris does have over a 3 YPRR and then some, which is pretty damn good. I'm not saying he will be good, just that it's impressive. But if I'm not mistaken, he is not an early declare, so that knocks him. And he's only had one good year, really. That's his statistical problem.
Clearly, the guy making the comps is making comps with pros who are good so we have a frame of reference. You take all these with a grain of salt from @scoutdnfl. He does this with every player. Faust re-posts his comparisons. I find them useful, knowing that for a lot of guys it's the best case scenario. It's merely that his college game in college is reminiscent of those pros in the pros. Actually, you can pretty much say that it's really a height-weight comparison. He's comparing Harris to some bigger bodies receivers, because AJ Brown and Michael Thomas were radically different receivers.
It's not an exercise for sticklers, that's for sure.
This is probably better than Gabe Davis. But I think that's the level of player. Deep ball #3 WR.Lance Zierlein and Trevor Sikkema have both made the comparison of Tre Harris to Alec Pierce.
