After pick PM next drafter "your up", following drafter "on deck", and drafter after that "in the hole"

If you think you miss your pick, pm someone a list.

I think these are the rules:

Everyone will start with an 8 hour clock. The clock will be suspended every day from 1 AM EDT to 5 AM EDT (this means everyone should have 12 hours over night). If your timer expires, you clock time will be cut in half. The guys at the turn don’t get extra time for the second pick. Clock is on during the weekends.

Roster info:

20 rounds of drafting

No trading of picks

No trading of players

No free agent pick ups

Serpentine drafting.

No submission of rosters. Each week 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 PK and 1 Def/ST will be maximized for your weekly score.

Player Scoring:

Passing TDs = 6 pts

Rushing/receiving TDs = 6 pts

1 pt per 20 yards passing

1 pt per 10 yards rushing/receiving

1 pt per reception (QB/RB/WR)

2 pt per reception (TE)

Kicker Scoring:

3 pts per FG

1 pt per EP

Defense Scoring:

Points Allowed

0 = 5 points

1-6 = 3 points

7-13 = 1 point

14+ = 0 points

Total Yards Allowed

0-199 = 5 points

200-249 = 3 points

250-299 = 1 point

300+ = 0 points

Sack = 1 point

INT/Fumble Recovery = 2 points

Safety = 2 points

TD (inc. ST) = 6 points

Low Score each week for first 13 weeks is booted off (except for the cumulative scoring league). High score gets amnesty for next week. Scores reset each week.

Once there are 3 teams left, there will be no more amnesty.

For weeks 14-end of the season, 1 team will be lost every two weeks.

A prize of message board bragging rights will be given to the winner.

If two teams should tie for low score, the tie will be broken by best player not used in calculating the maximum score per squad regardless of position.

Should a dispute arise, Twilight will act as the league commish once the season starts. His decision is final. In scoring disputes, we'll defer to the scoring used by Twilight and his software. Scores are final as of midnite Tuesday, no matter what scoring changes occur during the week. BnB and Duke1948 will serve as commish prior to the season.

Time limits explained above. No additional time for the people on the tail end of the snake. Each league will be responsible for tracking their own time limit violations.

If you miss you selection, you can make it at any time, first come, first serve on who's left. I reserve the right to replace inactivity owners or make their make up picks for the intregrity of the league.

Pre-drafting via PM to another member is encouraged.

Currently PMing league. Everyone hyperlinked above has been pmed.

Waiting on first pick, then second and so on...

Pm short list if guy before hasn't picked to someone thats around. This seems slow now, but it will pick up until the next MIA guy that doesn't pm short list or get notified by people above him.

What are the roster limits if any?

FYI, if 8 hour clock runs out in first round, owner moved to end with 4 hour clock for rest of draft. If first round pick comes up again, owner replaced.

Missed pick made up anytime if missed 2nd - 20th round.

Once this starts, PM next three guys up speeds things up.

PM a list to cover your next pick or two speeds it up too.

Not picking on Wolverine (he's just the first real example I can give)

if he pm'd some active people his top 3 they would pick for him and we would be rollin.

Just showing how this can work.

If the last one he pm'd does have to leave, they can forward it to someone else that is active.

I should be active most of today and tommorow with days off for the dentist.

Looks like I got demoted from WSLII to WSLIII for not being online for 2 days and previous threads indicating this didn't start until after the Superbowl.

Don't mean to sound like a :lmao: but this is kinda bush league to change the leagues without providing people with some notice.

I'm out of town most of the next two weeks and will have to bow out since it is now starting pre-Superbowl.

Have fun all!

Shadowmaster has not been on since Jan 5th. His clock runs out 6:38 am Central Time. Everyone was PM'd this was starting.

1.8 aposulli takes Alexander

1.9 wannabee takes Gore

PMing

1.10 H.K. 'Your up'

1.11 Domination 'On Deck'

1.12 wraith5 'In the hole'

Shadowmaster moves to bottom, must make pick when turn comes up, cut to 4hour clock.
HI Pictus. Clock is not cut in the winter leagues on a permanent basis. I'd say give Shadowmaster a couple of hours when his pick comes back up unless he posts here before that time.

When his pick comes up a 1.16, the two hours. After that JMills replaces if I understand this correctly. Is the so we don't catch up to the other WSL's? :coffee:

Out of curiosity, are we in a hurry here? I think we have a little time, unless the new goal is to be finished before the Superbowl...

PM'ing next three.

No hurry, but we did have one of these last year that went almost 6 weeks. Towards the end people just didn't care. IMO three weeks is a great goal, at least one round of drafting a day.

1.12 Kevin Jones - RB Detroit "#####cats"

Not who I wanted here but he should be a solid contributer to the offense next season....

Yes, I was a participant victim of MBSL2 - that was ridiculous. Guess I just don't have my mind into the drafting zone yet... Why don't we do more drafts like we did TLSL - on Twilight's website? That worked really well and was amazingly fast.

With my vast experience with these, I try to check it every 4 hours or less or PM a list if I'm away more than 7. The 4 hours at night gives you a 12 window too. This, plus pming the next three seems to work pretty well for me.Mostly, I've just been trying to help those this is new to this. Nobody likes to see people bumped out. I assume the rules are in place for practicality's sake.

PS: My experience is one SSL (with some prodding to get this started,) which sort of makes me a 10 year old trying to keep everyone out of trouble cause I'm the oldest while the grown ups play in the other room.

 We're off to a fine start I think. 10 picks a day would be great.-Shaun Alexander owner (7th overall)

The TLSL was not done on Twilights website. It was done via MFL. I believe we do the WSL, SSL, and MBSL on the FBG website so we can initiate conversation/debate.TLSL winner baby!

My sense of humor is down.I'm just providing info so people can make the pick they want and not miss their pick or lose their spot.Don't let the fact that I've had these days off, put a FBG hat on my avatar, and built the SM 4000 seem impatient. I've just had too much time on my hands. I'll be back to normal tomorrow.

Exactly. The IDP SSL was MFL drafted as well. These message board can be a pain to draft on at times, but all it takes is a little cooperation, and thing go great. And when a draft is on MFL, there isn't a tenth of the discussion of the draft that there is when it's here, which is the main point of these leagues (That and bragging rights to winning PDSL  or one of the others)2 simple rules when drafting here.

1. - PM the next person. Getting a PM while surfing the FFA helps a LOT when a sudden 2 or 3 person run hits.

2 - Take advantage of the helpfulness of your fellow drafters by sending draft lists when you are out for a few hours. If nothing else, send it to the person who drafts after you, and make a post noting the fact.

We've had drafts (MBSL2 last year) last for a number of weeks. But most can pick 2+ rounds a weekday with a little cooperation

I'll be around to make my picks, depending on :( intake... :)

Just letting you know....

ETA: There is an 8-hour timer. Those expecting to breeze by round to round are sorely mistaken. Patience is key.
