WSOP 2015 Main Event.......My Dilemma (1 Viewer)

I did not plan on going to Vegas this year and a few weeks ago I decided to go to play. Will be there 7/1 to 7/6. I go to a lot of circuit events and I always play in NL events but I usually look for HORSE or Omaha8 or better events to be there too. Stud8 is my favorite game but not usually offered on the circuit.

Noticed a Stud8 1500.00 event at the WSOP on 7/2 and then the Lucky 777.00. the next day if I bust out of the Stud8. 777 has two entries the next day. Flying from the east coast to Vegas made my trip until 7/6. Got free hotel and food at Rio so decided to do it. I have the money set aside for all this plus my wife's gambling and fun.

If I just spend and don't win anything I will be left with 5K in non house money ie my play fund.

First day of the main event starts on 7/5.

If I didn't back Raymer or decide to play in either 777 I would have been almost there. Just didn't think about it. To play in the ME is a life long 20 year dream. I knew about it well before Mr. Moneymaker.

Now the dilemma and the poll, what do I do if I end up with only 5K, in Vegas while ME is going on. Reason for the pole. I know the FFA input is always thee best.

I have won two 1600 seats in 8 tries at Cherokee. But fast blinds much luck and bad players. First hand of one. UTG raised, Mid calls, I call. Flop came 8 high. I had 88, mid had AA and stacked off after the flop, just bad play.

Blackjack is the worst option. You're significantly lower than 50% to win a single hand. Its the blackjacks, splits, double downs and surrenders that recover enough of the house edge to make it a beatable game. If you put your whole roll on one hand, you can't double or split and you probably won't be willing to surrender.

The other 5k would be on selling something or taking credit. Both take time and not something I am willing to do. I am also going out at the end of July to playing in Cherokee when ESPN will be filming the WSOP Circuit Championship only 100 player allowed in, but there is one seat up there up for grabs in a tourney at Cherokee.

Why would anyone invest in someone like me? I am not a pro or claim to be. Makes no sense. If I wanted backed I know who the players are on this site and I would contact them.

Give it to C4H was my thought. Then I was thinking you guys back me, if I lose I give 25% of you losses to C4H and if we win, after all money if recovered 5% from all on the winning goes to C4H. This is great but what if I win money in while I am there, don't want backed. Plus if I win some going to C4H anyways.

We were at the Horseshoe that night. It was a fbg cornhole in 2009 I believe.

Depending on how long sats take I think I will throw two bullets at it. If I lose I will close up shop on the poker for the trip. We already have plans to hit the Voodoo to eat on the 4th and then watch the fireworks from the rooftop lounge. Next day, We will hit the pits and have some fun.

Yeah it came to an end in December 2005 at the NY/NY in Las Vegas
