WTH?!? Dude's not even wearing a hard hat (1 Viewer)

The video is almost 10 minutes long, but you can really just kind of skip ahead if you want. I didn't watch the whole thing and I didn't have any sound.

Who thought this was a good idea? I mean it's pretty cool to see, but that guy is wearing zero safety equipment. Hell, to dig a hole with that thing usually requires you wearing a hard hat.

Crazy.

I don't think a hard hat would have really helped him if that stunt went sideways.
Yeah. I know. But I meant I couldn't believe the dude took ZERO safety measures. At least the hard hat would have given the illusion that safety was taken into consideration.

And what's with the yahoo with the mic who walks underneath of the backhoe while it's doing the stunt? I'm not sure who's dumber here.

This is from a famous German show named "Wetten Dass?" ("Wanna bet?"). Its been running for over 30 years. Very popular, great show. The format is live, usually about two hours long, and there are a few shows each year. They always push the envelope. Had an incident several years ago where a kid had an accident on live TV and ended up a quad.

The guy with the mic is definitely dumber. It's not even close IMO.

That show sounds both awesome and horribly wrong at the same time.

There are a ton of great clips from the show on youtube. I wasted a couple hours one day a while back going through them. Search - "Wetten Dass"

Its a crazy show, something you'd expect from the Russians or Japanese rather than Germans.

Funny you say that. As I stated, I wasn't watching with sound. And even though I could see the writing wasn't in Cyrillic, I totally assumed this was a Russian stunt.

Better video is the suggestion on the side where the guy uses the excavator to strip a woman's clothes off.

One of my favorites from the show - not a crazy/risky one, but one I always think of when someone mentions the show:

Girl identifies Lego Star Wars characters using only her tongue.

Would be more impressive in a different orifice. Amirite?
