WWE Stock. (1 Viewer)

I'm shocked by two things:

1. This thread still exists

2. Em still has money to flush down the toilet on WWE stock.

Fourth-Quarter 2015 Highlights

* Revenue increased 18% to $166.2 million driving a $6.0 million increase in Adjusted OIBDA1 to $11.1 million

* WWE Network had 1.22 million ending paid subscribers, representing a 49% increase from the fourth quarter 2014; WWE Network hit an all-time high of 1.24 million average paid subscribers for the quarter

* WWE Network was recognized as the fifth largest direct-to-consumer ("OTT") subscription service in the U.S. according to Parks Associates, ranking alongside Netflix, Amazon Video, Hulu and MLB.TV

* WWE was added to the S&P SmallCap 600 Index (effective January 20, 2016)

Full Year 2015 Highlights

* WWE generated 790 million social media fan engagements in 2015; Sprinklr's Social Business Index ranked WWE as the 6th most social brand worldwide, alongside Disney, Time Warner and Google

I see many reasons why it's a good investment. Especially when you consider that the Network model is exactly the same as Netflix. Wait until the Network has been around 5 years, the numbers are going to be impressive.

Dude, why do you have to be a #### about it? I like the earnings report released by WWE. Care to discuss?
I believe he just did give you valuable reasons why your investment sucks.
Not really. He indicated no real knowledge of the company's most recent earnings or the fact WWE is months away from its largest live event in history. If you read the earnings, WWE had its highest revenue in history and most network subscribers in history.

I know little about this stock, but I would like to remind you Netflix is not / barely profitable. I don't think the market will apply similar valuations to these two companies, just saying.

Like he said, that is already factored into the price. You aren't the only one aware of Wrestlemania.

Alright guys, well I'm telling you that within the next 12 months I'm going to be able to sell my shares for a profit. If you disagree fine and if you're right I'll be more than happy to eat some crow.

If we can flirt with 2 million network subscribers by the end of this year, I will be very happy.

I'm zigging where others are zagging. I encourage others to hop on board.

I'm confused, you got in Thursday morning, I'm seeing prob in the $16 range, no? Today when numerous sectors are roaring, it is $15.40.

Help me out, what am I missing?

Yes, what?

You bought at about 15.60. It's now at 16.35. You're up 75 cents on each of the 32 shares you bought. That's $24. Minus $10 buy commission, and $10 sell commission, you're up $4. Way to go. Still $1.50 a share short of the growth you needed to justify buying this instead of just parking it in an index fund for 8% growth.

That is, if you sold and realized that $4 gain. Did you sell? Or is this one of those stock threads you make where you only tell us you make awesome buys, but never say you sold until you backtrack months later once the stock is cratered to claim you got out at the top only we missed it?

And it's still stupidly pointless to treat stocks like gambling the way you do, and still idiotic to be buying individual stocks $500 at a time.
We're on the Fast Lane to $20.00 a share! In 2016, the point of these threads is to document to stock successes or failure.

I'd rather put $500 in the stock market instead of a Savings Account.  Especially with a new app I found Robinhood which lets me trade commission free.

To be fair, he sucks at gambling too.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Well, you pretty much suck at everything.

Women, school, keeping a job, stock advice, not getting banned....
You must be a ton of fun at parties.

You're totally that guy who is completely oblivious to who he's talking to.  Like the guy who accidentally makes a comment about a chick to her boyfriend.

Go on with your bad self.

Are you the chick or the boyfriend?

WWE has officially broken the company all-time attendance record at WrestleMania 32.Tickets are almost sold out, and according to sources with access to the direct numbers, the number of tickets out was 84,000 as of 3/8. Unless they open up standing room tickets, the final real number will be very slightly over that amount. The number breaks the actual real WWE company record of 79,127 tickets out for the August 29, 1992 SummerSlam show headlined by Bret Hart vs. Davey Boy Smith and Ultimate Warrior vs. Randy Savage at Wembley Stadium in London. WrestleMania III was the largest U.S. crowd in history with 78,000 as the legitimate attendance. The company is guaranteed to announce a number greater than the mythical 93,173 that WrestleMania III from the Pontiac Silverdome was announced at. On Raw on 3/7, there was a brief clip of Vince McMahon on the phone talking about 93,000 and how they were going to break the record this year. Traditionally WWE exaggerates the WrestleMania attendance by 10,000 to 13,000 and it wouldn’t surprise me for the number to be announced as more than 100,000.
