How do I break a tie?

Two teams have tied, and we have tie breakers in place...........I just don't see where/how to change it.

Little help please.

First, I'd wait until the scoring updates are rolled out Thursday morning. That might decide a winner for you without you having to interfere.

Don't want to wait until Thursday, it effects our waiver wire.Didn't there used to be a "break tie" button?

If you go into Commish Tools, there's a tab on the left that says Edit Team Points. You can add positive or negative points to any team's score (but not to a player's individual score) to break the tie you want. I'd suggest adding + 0.01 pts, which will break the tie you want but won't give anybody any real additional unearned points (like it would if you gave somebody 10 pts to break that tie) so it shouldn't likely affect future tiebreakers or total pts/pts allowed scores.

How are you proposing to break the tie? Coin flip? Better QB score or something? I'm curious what grounds you're planning on using to break the tie and how the two tied parties feel about it...let us know!

Looking at the Yahoo! Help, it looks like the tiebreaker default setting is points scored in the previous week.

Each week, two teams will compete against each other. The team which scores the most points according to the scoring system stated above will win that week`s game. In case of a tie, the following tiebreaker system will apply:1) Team with the most rushing/receiving TD’s2) Team with the most passing TD’s3) Kicker with the most points4) Backup kicker with the most points5) Kicker with the longest FG6) Backup kicker with the longest FG7) Defense with the fewest yards given up8) Backup defense with the fewest yards given up

We used to use CBS, but became cheap, and moved to Yahoo............you get what you pay for.
