I have a low waiver priority. 10th out of 12.

I am looking to put a claim in on Coghlan and D Young, and get one or the other, but not both. I want to dump LaPorta. Can I make a waiver claim on both guys, using LaPorta as the dropped player? Or do I need to drop 2 separate players to claim 2 separate players?

I think you can put in waiver claims for each player, with LaPorta being the drop player. I believe you can then put them in priority order.

I try to claim D Young, and use LaPorta, but it tells me that he is already involved in a pending transaction.

This is probably happening because young is a FA. Double check and make sure he's on waiver and not a FA.
