I don't know if anyone else has had this problem or currently has this problem, but my league's waivers are set to run every Wednesday morning. Waiver claims after games have started are usually processed sometime around 1:00 a.m. Pacific time on Wednesdays.
Well, I submitted a claim for Ladell Betts. I get to work today and check to see if waivers have run, and I noticed that two other teams in my league have picked up "free agents," but I didn't see Ladell Betts come off the board. I checked the list of available players and they have all switched from "W" to "FA" as is normal following the waiver process. However, Ladell Betts never went through the waiver process and is still listed as available, and is one of only three players with a "W (Nov 15)" next to his name. The other two are the players that were waived to make room for the players that were claimed from free agency and say "W (Nov 18)" next to their names.
A similar "glitch" occurred a few weeks ago when I waived Ben Watson during his bye week to pick up a replacement. I made the move the day before games and Watson should have cleared waivers the following Wednesday. I intended to reclaim him as I was #2 on the WW, and the team in front of me hadn't made a single claim all season. On Sunday night (the day after I waived him), Ben Watson was claimed off waivers by another team. All other NE players were listed as waiver players ("W") that week.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else had experienced a similar situation with Yahoo and regardless of whether you have or haven't, do you know how to contact Yahoo to get this resolved?
I am 5th on the waiver wire, and I'd rather not "tip" off any of my friends in my league that may be higher in priority that they can still submit claims if they haven't already.
